Historia
The Reaper is a legend, more myth than man: the savior of worlds, the leader of the Rising, the breaker of chains. But the Reaper is also Darrow, born of the red soil of Mars: a husband, a father, a friend. The worlds once needed the Reaper. But now they need Darrow. Because after the dark age will come a new age: of light, of victory, of hope.

Amazingly mindblowing 🤯
Revisado: 04-15-25
To get this far in the series and to have things still surprise and shock you is simply amazing in itself. The character development is breathtaking & the plot will leave your heart racing right until the end. Literally on the edge of my seat while reading this epic saga. Any fan of Dune, Star Wars, The Hunger Games, and Game of Thrones will be amazed how well read these books really are and where the story takes you. Cannot wait for Red God and itching all over to see how this epic saga will conclude. Do yourself a favor and read these books, the author is on top of his game and with each turning page the journey keeps getting better.

Another great book to read through this saga of galactic conquest. These books keep getting better and better. The characters are so in depth & dramatic that you're on the edge of your seat while witnessing their journey. Blink and a character is there and then poof gone but done beautifully.

Benjamin Franklin is the founding father who winks at us - an ambitious urban entrepreneur who rose up the social ladder, from leather-aproned shopkeeper to dining with kings. In best-selling author Walter Isaacson's vivid and witty full-scale biography, we discover why Franklin turns to us from history's stage with eyes that twinkle from behind his new-fangled spectacles. In Benjamin Franklin, Isaacson shows how Franklin defines both his own time and ours. The most interesting thing that Franklin invented, and continually reinvented, was himself.

This book was everything I hoped it to be, it pulled back the curtain on one of the greatest coaches of all time. Phil Jackson championships as a player and a coach the man is a legend. On top of that he coached two of the greatest players to ever play Basketball. Jordan and Kobe you can't get any better than that. This book gives more information to the Era of The Last Dance and Era of Shaq and Kobe that I thought it was interesting to learn more details about it a different perspective. If you're a basketball fan this should be on your reading list near the top. Hands down one of the most amazing careers in Basketball. Take a moment get centered and breath before each chapter it keeps getting better and better as his career progresses throughout the book.

The Compound Book
Revisado: 09-18-22
This book was amazing of pointing out things in your everyday life that you could improve by doing simple things. Stop blaming everyone else and only blame your actions and choices. Once you have that you have the core foundation on how this book teaches you that simple daily actions over time have effect. This book gives you a different perspective on success and how to get it, let me tell you it ain't easy. This book also teaches you to break away from the pact and be the person you want to be. It starts and ends with you so what are you waiting for, open this book and head towards what you want in life and yourself. Some of the examples he used in the audiobook didn't line up to the kindle book. Maybe they just used more updated examples to get the reader more familiar in the lesson the author was trying to make.

Rock and Roll Defined
Revisado: 09-17-22
Motley Crue was the 80's band. This book contains it all, to the legendary anitics of the band members to all the lows they faced along the way this book has it. Watching the movie first and reading the book after that made me want more of thier story. I wanted their story in their words. This book delivers on that and way more. Anybody looking to read an absurd lifestyle will enjoy this from start to finish. People that can't imagine or fantom what these band members have done and experienced, maybe this book is not for you. It's honest, vivid and doesn't lack the story to being censored. Any fan of Motley Crue will love this book and anyone that doesn't know who they are and what they stood for as a unit. That's being able to do whatever you want. Their lifestyles wasn't all fame and glory, some of it is down right horrible.

Death is inevitable in this series
Revisado: 09-16-22
Book two continues the story of Darrow attempting to break the chains that society is based upon in this fictional setting. The fight sequences are enough to keep you turning the page & wanting more. With all the twists and turns this story seems to be a pivotal plot groundwork on where the series is going to go. Ultimately Cassius and Darrow will clash but this story extends that rivalry further. After finishing this book I wanted to continue further into the series and see where this character is going to go after the epic conclusion of this book you'll just want more!

Red Rising a slow but good burn of a story.
Revisado: 09-01-22
I was recommended to read this series and the first novel did not disappoint. It didn't take long to catch my interest in the plot the story kinda grips you from the start and never really let's go until you finish the book. Darrow has a dynamic character arc in this book from being a low class worker to a dangerous killer that leap isn't as far as you would think. The story is about classes and oppression of people in a future setting. It does get pretty brutal throughout the novel but that is what fuels the page turning in this journey. Can't wait to continue the journey into the series. For those that are skeptical about starting it, just do it and thank me later!

Historians have long told the story of America’s birth as the triumph of Jefferson’s democratic ideals over the aristocratic intentions of Hamilton. Hamilton: A Founding Father Tragedy
Revisado: 08-28-22
An important Founding Father's epic story ends in Tragedy. Alexander Hamilton's life was nothing but extraordinary and excitingly inspiring. He helped lay the ground work for what United States of America stands for today! Not knowing his story in full and not knowing what he accomplished throughout his life kind of made the journey worthwhile when I was reading this book. If you don't fancy non-fiction historical reads, this book might not be your cup of tea. If you love these prose I have no doubt that it will be worth your while to read this book in full. The book provides vast collections of historical documents, letters and articles that makes this authentic and validates the authors credibility. If you're used to Roy Chernow's writing style, you're in for a treat. Narration by Scott Brick was an amazing performance made the life of a historical figure insightful and inspiring.
