Historia
Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all time, with five Champions League titles to his name. Yet his approach could not be further from the aggressive theatricals favoured by many of his rivals. His understated style has earned him the fierce loyalty of players like David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Not exactly an autobiography
Revisado: 11-30-21
Although it is made clear early on, this book is not a complete autobiography on Carlo, but more of a look at his management style along with experiences from his past.
Unfortunately, this book does not cover either subject indepth enough and leaves you feeling as if the author should have chosen one path or another and covered it fully.
Very good narration though.

Another good Jesse Stone story.
Revisado: 08-30-21
I know a lot of people complained when Robert B Parker's characters were handed over to new authors after his death, but you can tell from this book and others written by Coleman, that he truly "gets" the characters. He has progressed the character of Jesse Stone at a natural pace, not overhauling it, but adding to the depth that was already there. It goes without saying that Naughton does an excellent job as always.

Erickson is fantastic as always.
Revisado: 03-21-19
Another in the long running Eve Dallas series by J.D.Robb, and while this one is very good, it does not hit the heights of previous efforts. Maybe it is because the other characters did not get a chance to shine, or maybe it is because there are the usual Roarke and Dallas make made passionate love a number of times ( which happens in every book and does not add to the plot) Still,. Susan Erickson is fantastic as always performing this book. I actually prefer listening to this series over reading them because of the wonderful narration.

While the style of writing is very different from the original author, the stories and characters remain excellent. James Naughton as always does an excellent job narrating.

Great listen for any fans of Bryan
Revisado: 07-11-17
Apart from the unneeded and unwanted 10% of the book that is Peter Berkot narrating what happens to Bryan over the weekend of Wrestlemania 30, this book is an absolute must for any fan of Bryan Danielson.
As well as going into great detail of his WWE career ups and downs, he also talks in length about his time in the indies with Ring of Honor and memorable moments and experiences in Japan and Europe.
Since talking is not supposed to be Bryan's strong suit, he does an excellent job narrating his own book. A must for fans!

Historia
The legendary writer and performer of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers fame takes listeners on a grand tour of his ascent in the entertainment world John Cleese’s huge comedic influence has stretched across generations; his sharp irreverent eye and the unique brand of physical comedy he perfected now seem written into comedy’s DNA. In this rollicking memoir, Cleese recalls his humble beginnings in a sleepy English town, his early comedic days at Cambridge University (with future Python partner Graham Chapman), and the founding of the landmark comedy troupe.

A must listen for any fan of Cleese
Revisado: 04-26-17
An excellent read turned into a wonderful listen thanks to the narration of the author John Cleese. This is the story of his life up until Monty Python, so if you are wanting to hear a lot of python stories, this is not the place, as it is barely touched upon.
If you do want to hear about Cleese's impressive background in radio comedy, script writing, the Oxford lights and his time as a teacher along with many funny anecdotes, then this is indeed the book for you.
Very highly recommended!

More than just a murder mystery <br />
Revisado: 02-28-17
Susan Erickson is so good at narrating the "in death" series that I would rather listen to JD Robb's audio books instead of reading them, she adds that much more to the characters
Not only do you get an excellent murder mystery but you get a lot of character definition with Dallas realizing that she has friends and how she needs to interact with them during the festive season. This book is as much about the supporting cast that you know and love as it is the murder and for that alone I give it the highest recommendation.
