First, I have to say I love listening to the author because he is candid and passionate about his subject. Then there is his credibility. Yes, he has the education with a degree to flaunt if he wanted to, but he is continuously striving to improve his knowledge, which I’m sure is not accidentally modeling what he preaches in the book - to seek 1% improvement every day. When Abram’s content speaks to self care, tactics for good mental health, and what specifically works for women’s weight loss, it’s clear he has lived what he is sharing. He has experienced many things that make me respect his words on mental health. He also had his wife as his client to prove out what works. I love that the book aligns with my own beliefs that restrictive diets are not the answer, and he gives ways to reach a caloric deficient without counting. It really doesn’t get any simpler. I also really like his philosophies such as comparing ourselves not to the goal, but to who we were yesterday. There is so much to unpack in such a quick listen. I could go on, but gotta leave some things for each person that chooses to enrich themselves through this audio book.
