Historia
As we head toward the kitchen, the monk notices a light outside one of the cabins. "Who is cabin six? Your outside light is on. This is what happens when you are not mindful!" he scolds. I look in the direction he is pointing. My heart drops. It's my room! But how? Where is the switch? Then, I realize it's the switch inside I played with earlier. In my limited state of seeing, I only saw the lights in the room. Little did I think that my actions were affecting something outside of the room!

A rollercoaster of emmotions, amazingly performed.
Revisado: 05-21-18
The story is breath taking, the emotional rollercoaster will have you crying, cringing, laughing and full of hope. A wonderful performance by the narrator, perfect pronunciation in English and other languages. A true story of hopes, dreams, torn lives and separation. Had to binge it across several days it is a tough reality to come to grip with. Thank you Yusra Mardini and Sara Mardini for sharing this important message with the world!

There's horrible futuristic tech stories and this.
Revisado: 01-20-17
What disappointed you about The Circle?
The grinding daily stats, rather than feeling distracted and drawn away from the day to day, I felt more reminded of what was left behind in the office.
Has The Circle turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, just this one.
What about Dion Graham’s performance did you like?
He's performance is great.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
If you are a sane person, the story is made to shock you, not in a good way, likely as an warning of the possible future that were headed into. This is 1984, self imposed by the population under the guise of an goody good tech company that squeezes the very life essence out of you and all of earths population. If you work in the tech industry be ready to get stressed out as much of what you'll hear is day to day stats and the ever present pressure to please and meet deadlines. Get ready for a possible love hate relationship with the content of the book.
Any additional comments?
I think this is my first book review. Its well written but its tough to get through as it conflicts with my personal ideals and established boundaries. Finished the book so I could have an informed opinion just to write the review. But rest assured I'll be returning it.
