good story great concept even greater narrator. but rue she is annoying as hell. you could get rid of her in the story and it would be perfectly fine.

Way to long and dragged out

book one was good. I decided to give book to a try and it is about 10 hours too long. really hard to get into this book. the narrator has done a great job but unfortunately even a great narrator couldn't make this story seem interesting. I liked the concepts of dungeon cores and the floor building.

come on. when they were in the camp they never won a contest all of a sudden they're unbeatable. while they still act like little kids 95% of the time. then they are tasked with stopping the dark rangers who dislike the king and how he is running the show. yet egel who is supposedly going to be the King of the West is out hunting these people who feel the same way about the king. he is forced to let them either be tortured in hang or live a life of hard labor. the storage spans so far are roughly six or seven years they go to camp about 14 15 years old they're now in their early twenties but yet they still act like babies I mean are they going to grow up or not

90% of the book is mc is bitching that he cannot connect to his powers. it gets old really quick. story does have some potential

Good story but..

Good story narrator does an amazing job. This by no means ties into the first book. I'm not sure why it is apart of the Black Autumn series. I'm wondering if the author is going to tie the 3 books in some way. Also you don't need to press check so often. You should know if you have a round in the chamber before you strap your pew pew on for the day.

I enjoy this author, but this book and series sounds a lot like his other series. just different names for characters. also I really wish the author would do some research on Militias and what they really stand for and who they are. this is like the second or third book he has made the military out to be white supremacists nut bags. narrator did a great job.
