I have listened to at least 60 audiobooks in the past year and a half. This one stands out because this story has common truths about a journey that has yet to be completed. I was really surprised and enjoyed it.

Based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

You really don’t get to know who somebody is unless somebody takes time to produce a riveting biography such as this work. If you watched The Last Dance, apparently break through leaders seem to have a common thread, i.e., intensity, focus, and everyone saying they are complete assholes.
