This is solid
Revisado: 10-20-23
in almost every way, this story and production delivers. It has love, politics, character development, and yes, there's sex, but it isn't gratuitous, one of the main characters is a sex addict, so it fits. Overall it's well written and well performed. I've read almost every sci-fi series out there and this one is among the most entertaining and oddly thoughtful. Give it a chance.

stop whining
Revisado: 09-09-23
I didn't find this novel to be overly political, it's an honest representation of the Pandemic and the Trump era. I feel like Holly stays true to herself and King stays true to his self. It's not preachy, both sides are there if you listen, and it's accurate when it comes to the partisan divide at the time. It's not the absolute best novel he's ever written, but I loved it through and through. Give it a chance, let the art speak for itself.

Someone's looking for Tobias. Someone who says she's his long-lost cousin. Tobias isn't sure the person is telling the truth, but she's really nice, and knows a lot about him. And what she tells Tobias definitely gets his attention. It seems a lawyer has discovered Tobias' father's last will and testament. So, Tobias needs to attend the reading. His cousin even offers to go along. But something just doesn't feel quite right. That's when Tobias and the other Animorphs decide to do a little checking on this "cousin". And what they discover will change the rest of Tobias' life.

one of my favorite animorphs
Revisado: 12-08-21
I always thought Tobias was the best character, I definitely identified with him the most, for a number of reasons. I remember reading this and the Andalite Chronicles and being floored by his connection to Elfangor. Rereading it, I realize how complex and mature this series can be at times. Applegate doesn't underestimate her reader's ability to absorb more "adult" themes, she gave me a love of science fiction and reading that has continued to this day and I couldn't be more thankful.

It’s been centuries since Armageddon and no one has ever left the bunker that has sustained what remains of civilised human life....
