Tempting is Book 1 of the Red Lips & White Lies series, and follows Mackenzie Hayes & Nixon Sinclair.

Kenzie’s got some hefty baggage, and Nixon’s been waiting since the first time he saw her to be the one to help her bear its weight.

I always think I can’t love one of Bella’s pairings more, and then she writes another book and blows me away. Also this author is an expert at making this reader cry. I made it to 88 percent and thought to myself “wow, I made it all the way through for the first time without tears”…and then I turned the page.

You can always expect an emotional journey complete with a HEA that’s more than worth the wait, and a glimpse at what some of your previous favorites are up to currently—and I think that’s one of the things that always keeps me coming back for more of Kroydon Hills.

As always, the narrators do an incredible job bringing the story to life and getting across all of those palpable emotions.

I’ll never skip a trip to Kroydon Hills.

Enticing is the third title of the Red Lips & White Lies series by Bella Matthews and follows Leo Sinclair & Adelaide James.

Bella Matthews does it for me every time. This time she brings a romance author FMC with some baggage and two little tots that are her whole world, and the Kroydon Hills Hockey hottie that coaches one of those tots on a kids hockey team. There’s instant attraction, and when Leo finds out that Addie needs to marry in order to access her inheritance, he’s all too eager to step up as first in line for the job.

The tension between these two gave me butterflies. I love the Kroydon Kronicles chaos, and the family group chats are ALWAYS gold.


I’ll never skip a trip to Kroydon Hills.

Protector and ward.
Dominant and submissive.

When Liam’s best friend and his wife died in a tragic accident, the bachelor’s whole life changed when he was granted custody of their little girl. But Zoe’s not a little girl anymore, something much more than a platonic relationship has bloomed between them over the years, and their adult dynamic takes an abrupt and drastic turn.

This was a delightful listen. The narrators really did their thing & brought something special to these characters.

I do slightly wish I’d read the other standalone titles in the series first if only to better understand the nods to their stories, but it’s not a necessity and I still very much enjoyed the story on its own.

A wickedly fun, super cute and perfectlysteamy holiday novella to give you the warm and fuzzies on a cold December night that wastes zero time getting down to the spicy nitty gritty.

Very cute and festive! I loved Janie and Odin and breezed through this! Thank you to the author for the advance copy!

You’ve found it. Adina Chiles did something with this book, and I’ll be eagerly awaiting my chance to return to this world.

Horrifyingly vivid descriptions that will keep you locked in from start to end

An amazingly seamless mixture of urban fantasy and horror. Incredibly and horrifyingly vivid descriptions, lovable characters, and laugh out loud witty banter made this a really fun, albeit unsettling at times, listen from start to finish.

I will definitely be picking up the sequel!

Fast paced and super steamy!

Max and Rachel are thrown together under less than ideal circumstances, he being a US Marshall assigned to guard her while she’s a witness in a high profile case until she can be transferred into witness protection and assigned a new identity.

As it sometimes does, close proximity leads to a lot more than just his protection of her, and the dynamic of their relationship changes quite abruptly into something more intimate.

I really enjoyed this fast paced and very steamy listen, and look forward to seeing what the rest of the In Clear Sight series brings!

I know that I’m profoundly late to this bandwagon, but I am SO HAPPY to finally be here. I wanted to read this book since first joining the online bookish community, so I was thrilled at the opportunity to receive an advanced listener copy of the audiobook!

It always gives me a little bit of extra joy when I come across a concept I haven’t yet had the joy of reading, and the seven deadly sins concept was very much one of those pleasant surprises for me!

That said, there are (obviously) quite a lot of characters that are pretty often mentioned, which I think the narrators did a fantastic job of, but it can feel like a lot to explore, so I am eager to continue with this series and see where the further books take them!

I will happily return to Kildale Academy.

Our delightfully snarky FMC Dolly made a mistake almost a year before the events of Come True. Tricky things is…..Dolly's memory of the mistake in question is pretty hazy... in fact, she doesn't remember it at all. In any case and though her peers have all punished her thoroughly for it, she's unsatisfied and decides to take things into her own hands; punishing herself by foregoing any and all indulgences for a full year.
So of course it stands to reason that after she gives in to the inexplicable urge to plant a smooch upon the surface of the vase she acquired thrifting and it summons the witty and equally as sarcastic Velis, a djinn who seeks to grant her wishes in exchange for her soul as quickly as possible so he can move onto his next Master and complete the process all over again in hopes of winning a competition with his three villainous step-brothers, Dolly is perplexed and reasonably annoyed. She does not want to make any wishes, and she certainly does not believe in genies. All she wants is to be left alone to complete the final two weeks of her punishment and move on with her life.
Of course, Velis has other ideas. The ensuing chaos takes us on a wild adventure -complete with romance, no shortage of humor or sarcastic banter, a little bit of time travel and a whole lot of self discovery, healing, and forgiveness. Come True has a little something for us all.
This was my first genie romance, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! Nothing shy of charming and magical. I finished in one sitting - it was light, easy to follow, and really just a lot of fun to listen to. Looking for something that will have you laughing out loud at times? Look no further. The banter between Dolly and Velis was EVERYTHING.

Did I binge this book in less than a day? …Yes, yes I did. Devoured and left no crumbs, can confirm.

I was introduced to Rebecca in December when I joined Booktok, and she has very quickly become one of my all time favorite authors. Every time I finish one of her books, I’m left stunned and smitten. I always convince myself that there’s no possible way I can enjoy another one of her stories as much as or more than the last one I finished, and time and again, she proves me so very wrong. I don’t know what she puts in these books that makes them so addictive, but every single one really hooks its claws into you from the first page, and I just keep coming back for more.

The Vampires Will Save You is definitely not your typical vampire novel in that, as the title states, in this one the vampires are humanity’s saviors and only hope for survival in a post apocalyptic world. A really fun and easy read, chock full of beautiful imagery, action, adventure and of course romance!

Atlan and Finnley were E V E R Y T H I N G I didn’t even know I needed right now, and I couldn’t get enough of their banter. This is a low and slow burn, for certain, but the wait is well worth it! 🌶️ 🔥

And if you reach the end, and like me, shriek W H A T— you are in LUCK, because books two and three are already out! I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day. 🤓📖
