Absolutely stunning read- I preferred the author’s voice to Cate Blanchett’s, only because it’s Lauren’s story, not Cate’s. It’s more authentic with the author reading her own writing. I also have the paper copy of the book, which is also just a fantastic reading experience. Her prose is very lyrical, poetic, and raw.

Excellent content on a man with a colorful life, as he reflects on his getting old and facing the next stage of his life: death. Some great stories, from a fantastic storyteller. If you’re a Frank McCourt fan, you’ll love this book by his brother, which includes stories about Frank, including his end of life experience. Highly recommend.

I was on the fence about Comey, but actually hearing him tell his side of the story assured me that this guy is legit. You aren’t a trusted public servant for decades then just drop off the cliff of ethics. Everything he says confirms what we already know about Trump, and even though I can disagree with Comey on some things I absolutely believe his account and experience with Trump 100%. I’m anxious to see real justice done before we have a constitutional crisis. This was a good audio book because he has a great voice, very easy to listen to, and very earnest.

You can't beat this author for narration. He has the best voice. The story itself dragged in parts, and I thought he rambled at length on some things, but overall it was really interesting and he painted such a vivid picture of some of the most famous moments in the beginning of our country's history. I highly recommend!
