Historia
How do you tell your part in the biggest tale in history? I ask because it's what I have to do. I'm Zoe Boutin Perry: A colonist stranded on a deadly pioneer world. Holy icon to a race of aliens. A player (and a pawn) in a interstellar chess match to save humanity, or to see it fall. Witness to history. Friend. Daughter. Human. Seventeen years old. Everyone on Earth knows the tale I am part of. But you don't know my tale: How I did what I did—how I did what I had to do—not just to stay alive but to keep you alive, too.

No consistancy
Revisado: 03-03-23
Would it have killed her to listen to the previous entries and actually learn how to pronounce the races and people's names? Ok, maybe William pronounces them wrong, but he is the one who narrated the first book, so his pronunciation is canon, and her refusal to use these pronunciations made this one impossible to listen to without being confused and irritated. Couldn't finish, and man am I disappointed to see that she's part of the narration crew for the last book...

Historia
Sean Reilly and Tess Chaykin, heroes of Raymond Khoury's best-selling Templar thrillers, return in an edge-of-your-seat story that reaches from the present day back to 1800s Mexico-and possibly beyond.

Stick to the earlier Templar books.

20 Minutes in, and I can't listen anymore
Revisado: 01-22-20
As others have stated, the fact that three books into the series, he suddenly decides to have one of the main characters presented in first person, is weird, irritating, and pointless in my opinion. Loved the first two, books, with The Last Templar being on of my favorite books of all time. I do not like first person books, so this was a complete waste of a purchase. After 20 minutes, I cannot finish. Why, Raymond, why did you have to change things up so drastically? It completely changes the way the story flows. Super disappointed. Will definitely make sure I do a ton of research before I ever buy another Khoury novel. I honestly don't think it would be too much to ask for him to re-write this but in the original format of the series...
