One of the best in the series!
Revisado: 10-11-23
Robert Galbraith (Rowling) just keeps getting better. This was one of my favorites in the
series. It was fast paced and written so well. Of course the narrator did a fantastic job yet again. Can’t wait for the next one!

Great story. Kept me hooked the entire time
Revisado: 09-18-22
JK Rowling is an amazing writer. I’ve enjoyed every single one of her books. The performance on this was top notch. The only criticism I could say was the American accents are way off (especially southern). However, he does an amazing job with every other voice.

The best narration of any audiobook I have heard
Revisado: 04-17-13
If you could sum up Speaks the Nightbird in three words, what would they be?
Eloquent, captivating and excellent.
Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed "Speaks the Nightbird." It was my first time with a Robert McCammon book and will not be my last. Edoardo Ballerini did a superb job with the narration. I would have to say that his narration is the best I have ever listened to. I would buy books specifically to hear him narrate. I will be downloading the next chapter in this series.

Wonderful Second Book
Revisado: 11-09-12
What did you love best about Winter of the World?
I loved the characters, the storyline. I literally couldn't stop listening to this and am very sad that I will have to wait for the next book.
What about John Lee’s performance did you like?
John Lee does a wonderful job with all of the different characters and accents. If I had one criticism, it would be his rendition of Daisy. He reads her like a low brow woman from New Jersey, when she is meant to be a Buffalo socialite. The accent he gives her is not relatable or believable to me, but otherwise he does an amazing job with all of the voices.
