Historia
It has been nearly two hundred years since Hadrian Marlowe assaulted the person of the Emperor and walked away from war. From his Empire. From the will and service of the eldritch being known only as the Quiet. The galaxy lies in the grip of a plague, and worse, the Cielcin have overrun the realms of men. A messenger has come to Jadd, bearing a summons from the Sollan Emperor for the one-time hero. A summons, a pardon, and a plea. HAPSIS, the Emperor’s secret intelligence organization, has located one of the dreadful Watchers, the immense, powerful beings worshipped by the Pale Cielcin.

Revisado: 04-18-25
This book nearly broke me. So long and so few interesting things happen. Hadrian continue to act his dumb unlikable self. I may not even pick up the last book.

Historia
For generations the solar system--Mars, the moon, the asteroid belt--was humanity's great frontier. Until now. The alien artefact working through its program under the clouds of Venus has emerged to build a massive structure outside the orbit of Uranus: a gate that leads into a starless dark. Jim Holden and the crew of the Rocinante are part of a vast flotilla of scientific and military ships going out to examine the artefact. But behind the scenes, a complex plot is unfolding, with the destruction of Holden at its core.

I had trouble getting into the series with the writing style not being great fit with me and first books dealing a lot with JH's feelings and stuff I don't really care that much about. But I loved the show and I wanted to read it so I kept going. Third book was the first one I truly enjoyed. Looking forward to the next one.

Historia
They say that the Thorn of Camorr can beat anyone in a fight. They say he steals from the rich and gives to the poor. They say he's part man, part myth, and mostly street-corner rumor. And they are wrong on every count. Only averagely tall, slender, and god-awful with a sword, Locke Lamora is the fabled Thorn, and the greatest weapons at his disposal are his wit and cunning. He steals from the rich - they're the only ones worth stealing from - but the poor can go steal for themselves.

Thrilling adventure with a great sense of humor.
Revisado: 01-22-23
The book was a lot different than what I expected. I thought it will be a grim, gritty criminal underbelly sort of serious story.
Instead I got served a tale of friendship with moments of great humor. There were grim and brutal scenes too. But few and far between.
I can't wait to start the next installment.

Over-hyped and unfinished
Revisado: 06-17-20
All things considered i dont recommend this to anyone until the last book is out and then check the reviews, but im not going to read the last book even if it's another 4.7 book on audible because people are crazy, hyping Rothfuss to be an awesome writer when he wrote 2 books and a handful of short stories and was lucky that the first book was somewhat decent...
The first book is a somewhat promising opener to a series i didnt know is a series since when i first picked up the book i though it to be a standalone. Then when i got to the end of a slow tale i've realized it's supposed to be a trilogy where the last installment takes as long as Winds of Winter to come out. I still read the second book and i liked it way less than the first one which was an average to begin with.

Revisado: 03-23-19
The biggest obstacle in letting me enjoy this audio book is the translation from Ralph Lister to Michael Page. But once you accept there's nothing you can do about it the story is just great.

The ravaged continent of Genabackis has given birth to a terrifying new empire: the Pannion Domin. Like a fanatical tide of corrupted blood, it seethes across the land, devouring all who fail to heed the Word of its elusive prophet, the Pannion Seer. In its path stands an uneasy alliance: Dujek Onearm's Host and the Bridgeburners, each now outlawed by the Empress alongside their enemies of old, including the grim forces of Warlord Caladan Brood, Anomander Rake, Son of Darkness, and his Tiste Andii, and the Rhivi people of the Plains.
