Worst book in the series

Struggled to finish this one. I fell in love with this series and every book before this one was fun. This book made Frankie weak and vulnerable which was not her character in the other books. the story was all over the place. Drunk comes off as extremely stupid and it was so annoying to characterize such a sarcastic smart ass as a dumb ass. His quick wit me the other stories but this one for me was a huge disappointment.

I love these stories! these are the perfect audible books. easy, fun, hilarious antics and antagonistic and protagonist rolled into one character! Serg A. Storms has become the epitamy of hero. I am going to listen again and again. Tim Dorsey is a guy I would love to meet. If you like crazy, funny, could happen shit..this series is made for you.

I love Tim Dorseys Serg stories but this one was a struggle. it started out great but it took too long for Serg to enter the McDougals lives. Very disappointed in the ending. Still love Dorsey...will start the next book and review again

I love Dorseys books. As whacked and entertaining as they are, this one was really out there. Too many past and present to keep up with and too many plot twists I kept getting confused. Serge and Lenny are amazing characters..Hopefully the next one will keep me entertained.

Struggled to finish. I realize these cute mystery stories are silly, but the Glock Grannies were truly awful. All 3 stories seemed out of sync, and the character "Nikki" is terrible. 5 Grannies solved 3 murders with each story dragged and beaten to death only to have the end of each more ridiculousthan the last. ..reader is left with unsettled answers on EVERY character. The performance was good based on the material. I would not recommend. I usually walk and listen to anything on audible but this was BAD.
