Historia
Daphne Sweeten left Paris - and a job she loved - to marry the man of her dreams in the U.S. But when he stands her up on their wedding day, she’s left reeling and senseless. Literally. She’s been trained as a perfume creator and now her sense of smell has disappeared along with her fiancé!
She has to figure out why her nose isn’t working, fix it, and get back to Paris. Meanwhile, she’ll rely on her chemistry skills and just hope her new boss at Gibraltar Products, Jesse, doesn’t notice her failing senses. They’ll be working together on household fragrances, not posh perfumes. How hard can it be?

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Stephen King writing a romance? Whaaaaaat???
Revisado: 06-03-19
This book was recommended to me. I could hardly stop listening to it. I altered my life's activities to get another few minutes in any chance I could get! Stephen King is an excellent writer! Duh, right? But who knew that he could write such a beautiful love story in all of the suspense, drama, bloody murder scenes, and time travel. I love historical fiction and this was absolutely a favorite!!:) I just am sooooooo in love with George.:) If only he were real.

Who knew that dieting could be this easy???
Revisado: 06-03-19
I am a chick. I read all sorts of diet books, what female doesn't? This book is absolutely hilarious!! I love the self talk of Luc Carl and how he tackles his weight issue while partying his butt off. It was funny, somewhat motivating, and downright unique in his approach to weight issues while having a drink in his hand. I didn't realize that he was Lady Gaga's ex. It doesn't even play into the book in any way. It was entertaining for sure!

Historia
When Carrie Fisher recently discovered the journals she kept during the filming of the first Star Wars movie, she was astonished to see what they had preserved—plaintive love poems, unbridled musings with youthful naiveté, and a vulnerability that she barely recognized. Today, her fame as an author, actress, and pop-culture icon is indisputable, but in 1977, Carrie Fisher was just a teenager with an all-consuming crush on her costar, Harrison Ford.

Inside the mind of Carrie Fischer
Revisado: 04-15-17
This book is narrated mostly about Carrie Fisher that she shares some of the narration with another person. I I got this book shortly after her unexpected death. I am a Star Wars fan. Listening to Carrie talk about her life you can really see and hear through this book in Audible the downward spiral of her bipolar disease. This book captured her life as she saw it, her life experiences most of which she's very vocal about sharing but really captures the essence of the darkness of depressive side of her bipolar thoughts. I didn't finish the book feeling like I was so glad I listen to it, rather it made me feel sad for her life experiences and depressed because of how dark some of her poetry was. I'm assuming that it was because of her dark side of depression that seem to be coming out in her journal throughpoetry of sorts.

Historia
At least one-third of the people we know are introverts. They are the ones who prefer listening to speaking; who innovate and create but dislike self-promotion; who favor working on their own over working in teams. It is to introverts—Rosa Parks, Chopin, Dr. Seuss, Steve Wozniak—that we owe many of the great contributions to society.

Interesting look at introvert vs extrovert personalities
Revisado: 04-15-17
This book contains a lot of information that has been thoroughly researched by the author. It also provides interesting details about various well known people and how their personality trait/type has made them the people that they are today. There are pluses and minuses to both being an introvert and an extrovert. This book also details what an introvert and extrovert personalities in a relationship looks like an areas that they may have difficulty and how to overcome those difficulties to make the relationship a success. I really enjoyed this book!
