What other book might you compare Traded to and why?

Any Domestic Abuse Recovery Story. This one just has a smidge of Ds, like barely even any at all, yea, I'm having a hard time even calling his "tastes" Ds. I thought there was going to be more, especially half way through the book. But all in all, I wasn't disappointed, just didn't get what I was expecting.

What does Honey Scarlett and Leeroy Will bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her constant *faint of heart* style of speaking

The ending was good. Parts got repetitious. Didn't not like this duo, but I didn't feel like the character and the actor's voices matched well.

good story. rough listening experience

The story was great, lots of twists & turns. The male narrator was great, and the female wasn't bad, it's just the volume control on her narrations was horrible. One second she was speaking softly & the next yelling into my ear. had to constantly adjust the volume & feel bad for putting my poor ears though that. I'm hesitant to read the next book now, though I still want to, since the story was, like I said, good.

surprised. better than 1st book

Wow, I enjoyed reading this book a lot. A lot more than the 1st one. This book has all the juicy drama, suspense, & sex the first book does not. Definitely worth reading. Will read again some day, some rainy day when I want a Viking hero (at least that's what I imagined) to save the day!

Loved the content of the book. Great story. Loved the narrator. Made me laugh though, she doesn't know how to pronounce gyro or Livonia. But I guess being from the Mitten gives me an advantage.

Loved the story! not super suspense craziness! One I will listen to again! Can't wait to hear more of this author. The reader had hard S's at first but I got past it & it was well worth it.

Have you listened to any of Emily Sutton-Smith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Never listened to the narrator before & thought in the beginning how robotic and depressed she sounded but as the story unfolded I thought the style in which she recited the novel was a reflection of the tone of the book. Overall after taking it all in, I felt she did a good job and her interpretation was appropriate.

Would you listen to Consequences again? Why?

Yes, because I'd love to listed to it again, now that I've listened to all three books. Knowing how they end up, would be interesting to "see" it again through knowing "eyes".

What other book might you compare Consequences to and why?

I've never read a book like Consequences. But I'm so glad I did, even through the Bad-Anthony parts.

What about Romy Nordlinger’s performance did you like?

Her voice, very distinct for each character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole trilogy!

If you're avoiding this book because of claims of rape and abuse, I totally understand. It's there, but not as descriptive as you would think (and it's all over by the second book). Yes the sex is there too, that is more descriptive ;) but this series is one of the best I've read. And now that I'm done with all three I feel like I'm missing something. I'm having a hard time finding another book to listen to because I don't think it could compare and don't want to be let down. This one was so good, or maybe it's because I feel like I'm cheating on the consequences series with another book. ;) hah. Seriously I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that I've completed this series.
