simply surreal

To hear Perry's story, in his voice, & knowing he literally died shortly later just makes you ache for him. He was an amazing man with the kindest soul. Sadly his addiction still won in the end, by default. He left us without that beautiful smile & sense of humor that was so unique. Absolutely wonderful book, made even better because Matty tells his own story so,so well! I hope he sees now that he was always worthy, wonderful & loved so much.

Great book if you don’t have ano else to read.

Book is slow moving and choppy. Goes from present to past and can be difficult to “get into”. Several story lines but none of them seem to come to a conclusion.
