Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

A Good Beach Read
Revisado: 07-06-22
Don't expect to be blown away, it's a dumb story, with a dumb plot. Nothing is at all described, we're not really given a reason to care about any of the characters, and the author's attempts at trying to make them witty simply make all of them punchable.
However, if you take this novel as a dumb summer beach read, that won't engage too much of your brain, and just take in Wil Wheaton's fantastic reading of the material you won't feel like you wasted a day of your life.

Historia
A shipwrecked man rescued by a passing boat is left on the island home of Doctor Moreau, who creates sentient beings from animals via vivisection. The novel deals with a number of philosophical themes, including pain and cruelty, moral responsibility, human identity, and human interference with nature. H.G. Wells at his best.

H.G. Oh Wells
Revisado: 12-29-21
Great story, well paced. The narration is stilted and dull. Kind of a snoozer.

Okay... we get it.
Revisado: 12-02-21
This is a thinly veiled plot with obvious intention of resetting the continuity of the Next Generation novels. The ultimate conclusion, is as subtle as a plane crash.
It's far from awful, but it's just not that great.

I didn't love it. Didn't hate it. A great deal of the story seemed superfluous, and unnecessary.
Overall, a fun tale.
