A fun read

Good book overall. The humor was on point and mostly geared to a younger audience. Nothing inappropriate for younger listeners.
The system is an interesting take on the genre and in curious how the author is going to develop the plot in future books.
The hero can be an idiot at times, which can be forgiven by his youth. I would have liked to see him develop his powers more efficiently, but if I want someone to do it the way I would, I should write my own book.

Informative and delightful

This book is not what I expected when I started. I thought it would be a whimsical view of sci-fi Mars settlement. There is some of that, but it's so much more. This book reinforced our need to maintain our current planet since everything else sucks. Highly recommended and should be required reading in all future science curriculum.
