Historia
In Everthing Is F*cked, Mark Manson turns his gaze from the inevitable flaws within each individual self to the endless calamities taking place in the world around us. Drawing from the pool of psychological research on these topics, as well as the timeless wisdom of philosophers such as Plato, Nietzsche, and Tom Waits, he dissects religion and politics and the uncomfortable ways they have come to resemble one another. He looks at our relationships with money, entertainment, and the internet, and how too much of a good thing can psychologically eat us alive.

Yours problems aren't ours
Revisado: 02-14-25
The movie was pretty good on the first watch, it was clever. But on other viewings - he turns his insecurities and immaturity into something that should be blamed on SOCIETY and us, rather than his own personal responsibilities.
A 14 year old getting busted for drugs is not my problem but he makes it 'out' problem as a sign of privilege.

Historia
Throughout its history, the practice of psychotherapy has both reflected and shaped cultural assumptions about the nature of self and society. How does this "culture of therapy" interact with Christianity? In these thought-provoking interviews, Paul McHugh, John Steadman Rice, and Richard Noll talk about Christianity in relation to therapy, discussing the phenomena of False Memory Syndrome, codependence, New Age spirituality, and addiction.

Very important history to know
Revisado: 08-01-22
Don’t let the short amount of time on this 2 1/2 hours fool you - it is packed with a wealth of great information. In fact I’ve bought two books from these authors since listening to this.
If you’re trying to understand the current events of today, I would highly recommend listening to this. In fact I’ve heard it a dozen times and each time I learned something new. What were experiencing today started over 30 years ago when therapy changed with dysfunctional family, codependency, the inner child, and Carl Jung‘s affect on the world; from diagnosing a disease and discourse into basically saying everything is bad and we see this today with CRT, gender, and the agenda against capitalism in the United States.

Cultural Marxism
Revisado: 07-27-22
The title is taken from the book ‘Towards Soviet America’ espousing cultural Marxism. The idea that the individual is a victim of society plays into the Cloward Piven strategy of the 1960s with their May 1966 article the weight of the poor.
The main attack on America’s freedoms and economic system usually undermines the facts that capitalism has benefited more people and helped create the middle class over the last 500 years, whereas Socialism and communism have killed at least half 1 billion people over only the last 100 years.
Today we find rhetoric like this and social criticism, social theory, critical theory, and today critical race theory through the infiltration of our media, arts, schools and sadly the literature that should help to promote free speech and freedom of thought and yet books like this do the opposite they curb the intellect by having the individual feel that they are part of a class warfare and self depreciated because of society rather than taking full responsibilities through their own freewill of the choices that they make.

Captivating
Revisado: 05-28-22
A very well done series, which captivates imagination and brings forth credible evidence against RJ Wagner. After these many decades it’s impossible for anything to reverse considering in the beginning it was streamlined away from any second narrative while being put to rest almost as quickly as it happened. Highly recommend.

On February 4, 1974, Patty Hearst, a sophomore in college and heiress to the Hearst family fortune, was kidnapped by a ragtag group of self-styled revolutionaries calling itself the Symbionese Liberation Army. The already sensational story took the first of many incredible twists on April 3, when the group released a tape of Patty saying she had joined the SLA and had adopted the nom de guerre “Tania.”

Pandering to domestic terrorists
Revisado: 05-17-22
The book started good and then it basically panders to the SLA sugarcoating these crazy domestic terrorists minimizing Patty Hearst roll in it so that she’s kind of a victim but she was definitely the perpetrator and went along with the whole thing. More communist propaganda.

In The Jesuits, Malachi Martin reveals for the first time the harrowing behind-the-scenes story of the "new" worldwide Society of Jesus. The leaders and the dupes; the blood and the pathos; the politics, the betrayals and the humiliations; the unheard-of alliances and compromises. The Jesuits tells a true story of today that is already changing the face of all our tomorrows.

The Problem with Lincoln

Historia
So many thousands of books deifying Abraham Lincoln have been published that it is nearly impossible for the average citizen to learn much of anything that is truthful about Lincoln’s presidency. You’ll learn that the real reason why Lincoln launched an invasion of his own country (he never admitted that secession was legal or legitimate) was to destroy the voluntary union of the founders and replace it with a coerced union held together by violence and threats of violence, much more like the old Soviet Union than the original American union.

Trash
Revisado: 01-28-21
He begins to make interesting observations but everything is cherry picked and taken out of context. He doesn’t use any dates in reference to speeches or statements made. Everyone knows that a politician will say whatever they can to get elected. I don’t believe Abraham Lincoln was a racist and yet it definitely cast a shadow on the author’s intention and agenda to undermine one of the greatest presidents and Republican Party. I listen to half the book and at a certain point I couldn’t bear to waste anymore time

They rose up to challenge the status quo and shake the foundations of our world. On Divine Rebels, Caroline Myss and Andrew Harvey offer you an opportunity and a challenge-to listen for the same divine voice that called to history's greatest spiritual trailblazers, and to answer it in your own life.

Who is Andrew Harvey?
Revisado: 11-12-20
I was really disappointed to hear Andrew Harvey say that Karl Marx was one of his top nine people he admires. Karl Marx was a real POS and his disinformation unleashed Communism onto the world and has done a disastrous results where hundreds of millions of peoples have either died or been left in poverty, and yet Andrew Harvey thinks he’s a great guy? Sad sad sad I don’t know why Carolyn Myss would to partner up with him she usually has enough quality material to cover two books.
