Historia
Photographer Isla Wilson is thrilled she's landed her dream job, but the clients who hired her are getting stranger by the day. It sounded so perfect—a month's assignment at the lush Scottish Highlands property of architect Alban McGregor, and his wife, Jessica. But in the woods, there's a playhouse with a chilling history. Two years ago, the McGregors' daughter Elodie was abducted and then died in that playhouse. The townspeople insist her abductor had to be a stranger in their town. Alban refuses to knock the playhouse down, even keeping a picture of it on his wall.

Great story
Revisado: 04-10-24
I loved the twists and turns this story brought. She was thorough to connect all the missing pieces and in ways I hadn’t guessed. And the narrator did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

Historia
The number one New York Times best-selling story about American Olympic triumph in Nazi Germany, the inspiration for the PBS documentary The Boys of '36, broadcast to coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 80th anniversary of the boys' gold medal race. Out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times - the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.

A must read for those who question the goodness of God
Revisado: 08-31-21
I have been a Christian for over 10 years now. The last 4 years have been the hardest years of my life with God. I truly have authors like Greg Boyd and Tish Harrison Warren to thank for writing work that points back to the truths of God. This book has softened my heart a great deal and I will be listening to this book at minimum once a year if not quarterly. Thank you for the amazing book and for all your service to God and the women/men/children around you.

People say Beartown is finished. A tiny community nestled deep in the forest, it is slowly losing ground to the ever encroaching trees. But down by the lake stands an old ice rink, built generations ago by the working men who founded this town. And in that ice rink is the reason people in Beartown believe tomorrow will be better than today. Their junior ice hockey team is about to compete in the national semifinals, and they actually have a shot at winning.

Most impactful book I’ve ever read
Revisado: 03-05-20
This book had me at its first sentence. It made me cry within its first chapter. It made me desire more within its first four chapters. There’s no book like this book I’ve read thousands and never really fallen in love with how someone tells the story until now. Truly this is a work of art in a story that must be shared. If you are not reading this, Then you are missing out on something great.

This book saved my faith
Revisado: 12-13-19
I grew up as a Christian, amazing Christian home with parents who loved me and fought for my well being and spiritual faith. Much to their horror I rejected everything they said for many years causing them unimaginable pain and suffering, yet they loved me through it. After years I had a suicide attempt that was cut off from what can only be God Intervention. I dropped all I had and followed Jesus the next day at a church service I found myself sitting. Though over the years the simple love of Jesus was buried with doctrine, theology, apologetics and my love got lost in it all. My skepticism and anger grew, especially after I got married to my wonderful wife. I saw I couldnt fake the happiness or the “walk of faith” any more. My questions were every single one Greg’s amazing father had. This book sank its teeth into me, and Jesus healed the hardness around the heart saying, “it’s about me,” and I’m floored. The end had me in tears for about 30 mins after reading. I’m serious, non stop tears. What a beautiful book, and a God glorifying story! How beautiful Jesus is comes out bright as can be in this book! ITS A MUST LISTEN TOO!

First book to make me sweat!
Revisado: 03-06-18
This book had me on the edge of my seat from begging to end! It felt like a well planned out film, I felt there! It was written so insanely well that I will have to read more from Charlie Donlea! What a beautifully and terrifyingly written story! I couldn’t put it down and it’s all I thought about when I had to do other things, that spells trouble but you know that is what you are looking for in a story! Nina Alvamar had perfect voices for what she was doing! Every character sounded a little different and she captured the emotions and drama well! Thank you Charlie Donlea for writing this epic piece of literature and Nina Alvamar for making the characters come to life and preform like I was right along side them! 10/10!

Historia
The year is 1876. Warring Indian tribes still populate America's western territories, even as lawless gold-rush towns begin to mark the landscape. In much of the country, it is still illegal to espouse evolution. Against this backdrop two monomaniacal paleontologists pillage the Wild West, hunting for dinosaur fossils while surveilling, deceiving, and sabotaging each other in a rivalry that will come to be known as the Bone Wars.

M.R. Carey Brings Zombie Lore Back To Life
Revisado: 02-06-17
I've been sick and tired of Zombie films and tv shows and video games ramming the same story down our throats. People are alive trying to survive as we realize humans are the real danger not the zombies. It gets old after 7+ seasons, thousands of movies, and hundreds of video games. This book however, destroys the stereo type of Zombie lore. This is a fresh breath of air, no pun intended. Read this! Read it and delight in its masterpiece writing! 5/5 100%! Good job also to Williams for that perfect reading! Amazing narrating!
