This series is one of THE BEST i have read in awhile. Just love the Bob's. Stories are not repetitive the characters are relatable I just can't say enough. Buy them all and the progression just makes the next and next book better and better.

Story is fun I could continue this series except the sex takes up to much of the book, and, it gets kinda ridiculous. If the writer could spend more time on action and story line and lose about half the sex I would give this a much higher rating.

Good book, just slow moving

If more action was injected into the first 20 or chapters I would have love it, as it is it was still good but I found myself jumping ahead and getting bored with all the descriptions and elaborating on topics for fillers, a sci fi action book or movie needs to move along it's why we watch and read them. Just a thought.

I really wanted to enjoy this and and third book in the series after LOVING the first one. They should have stuck with Sean Runnette as the narrator. The narration went downhill in book two, and fell of a cliff in book 3. I most likely will skip the rest since they stuck with Keith Szarabajka for the rest of the series. To bad.

Just love the writing, the narration, I WANT MORE.

The main character is just to cool not like, the story is so well written you will find yourself feeling almost as if your there. Narrations is the best, the way the monsters are categorized and named and research brings the charters and story to life. The pain and suffering of the hunters and the relationships make your feel for them. Ok I've blabbered long enough if you like a good story, NO GREAT STORY buy this series, and hope along with me much more is to come.

Way to slow moving.

Would you try another book from Justin Cronin and/or the narrators?
I so wanted to love this book but, it was so darn slow getting to any sort of action, 25 chapters in before anything interesting happened. Somtimes the author spent entire chapters on someones feeling or history BORING. I quit at chapter 27, Scott Brick was the only thing that kept me going that far since he's my favorite Narrator. Skip this unless you like hours and hours of personal life stories that relate pretty much in no way to the story.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Less time spent on personal life stories and more on action or science relevant to the villains.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Everything , if it was not for Scott Brick I would not have gotten as far as i did.
