Historia
New to the Hot Springs PD, Lisa Reynolds was not all that welcomed by her coworkers, especially those who were passed over for the position. But it didn't matter anymore. Her 30-day probation period ended on the same day of the Z-poc's arrival. Overnight the world goes from bad to worse as thousands die in the initial onslaught. National Guard and regular military units deployed the day before to the north leave the city in mayhem. All directions lead to death until one unlikely candidate steps forward with a plan.

about to read book 4
Revisado: 06-28-18
nice zombie book about a woman cop who sees the fall of man early on and prepares a small town to put up a last stand at a Walmart Super Store. Soon word gets out of her safe area and she rallies the surrounding area into an army of everyday people. Can they beat the hordes of zombies back? Has some military in it but mostly told as a cop turned savior. No technical jargon or military acronyms just plain English. Book starts with the infection that made people sick and rumors of it being much more to the first week of the outbreak. Then the hordes come a knocking. Has a plot twist of a serial killer who enjoys seeing the fall of mankind.

Historia
Everything hangs by the thinnest of threads. In a Dead world, nothing is certain and nobody is safe. Friends have fallen; some enemies have been defeated only to be replaced by yet another. As the first year of the zombie apocalypse ends and a new year begins, can a person hope that the coming of spring can be a starting point for re-birth? If not... then what is the point of trying to survive?

a good listen.
Revisado: 04-21-15
Would you listen to Dead: Spring again? Why?
yes I would because the book tells a good zombie tale.
What other book might you compare Dead: Spring to and why?
zombie sanctuary is the book I would compare this book to.
Have you listened to any of Andrew McFerrin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
no I guess I messed up in that I heard the last book without hearing the preceeding books.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
no way too long for that but was nice cause I got 3 days out of it while working...better than listening to music all day.
Any additional comments?
did not read any of story before this book and was able to jump in and understand it all except the talk of what happened earlier in story about some military guy they met but it was not hard to figure out that this guy doublecrossed them and they were upset about it.
