Essentialism is more than a time-management strategy or a productivity technique. It is a systematic discipline for discerning what is absolutely essential, then eliminating everything that is not, so we can make the highest possible contribution toward the things that really matter.

Incredible Book!
Revisado: 07-19-24
"Do Less But Better" is the message of this book. Removing the unessential and concentrating your efforts on your "Singularity of purpose." It has helped my business and my life.
Highly recommend to anyone who just finds themselves doing too much, feeling overwhelmed or just not making the progress they would like.
I have become a big fan of Greg McKeown since reading his book "Effortless."

What an Incredible Book, Loved it!
Revisado: 06-12-24
Weird title, I had no idea what to expect from this book. It is full of so many great ideas, quotes and tips that come at you so fast that it is impossible to write them down that fast. I will need to listen to this audiobook a couple of more times.
The chapter "Groundhog Day" was worth the cost of the book alone.
It is very well-researched with ideas and quotes from the world's creative icons.
If you are an artist, photographer, poet, writer or any creative you will be thrilled with this audiobook.

Finally. Reincarnation explained.
Revisado: 04-09-24
First I admit I am a fan of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, but often found him hard to follow.
I have been struggling with the concept of reincarnation for some time, I could find no evidence of it being a possibility as it was explained to me.
But in this audiobook Thich Nhat Hanh explained it almost in a scientific way that made more sense and I see it now as a possibility.

If you implement even one tactic in this book, you’ll see the change in your prospects' demeanor. And you’ll know the $100M Offers method worked when you start hearing, “What do I need to do to move forward?” before you even ask for the sale.

I have some of these ideas before from his mentor Dan Kennedy. But in this book the ideas are more refined. Lots of examples and explanations that really helped. My only criticism is that he spoke very fast so it was easy to miss some of the details.

In Plays Well With Others, Eric Barker dives into these questions, drawing on science to reveal the truth beyond the conventional wisdom about human relationships. Combining his compelling storytelling and humor, Barker explains what hostage negotiation techniques and marital arguments have in common, how an expert con-man lied his way into a twenty-year professional soccer career, and why those holding views diametrically opposed to our own actually have the potential to become our closest, most trusted friends.

Historia
'Forest bathing' or shinrin-yoku is a way of walking in the woods that was developed in Japan in the 1980s. It brings together ancient ways and wisdom with cutting-edge environmental health science. Simply put, forest bathing is the practice of walking slowly through the woods, in no hurry, for a morning, an afternoon or a day. It is a practice that involves all the senses and as you gently walk and breathe deeply, the essential oils of the trees are absorbed by your body and have an extraordinary effect on positive feelings.

Educational and Inspiring
Revisado: 10-13-23
Lots of science, maybe too much but I guess they had to show the information given was legit.
Some interesting and cool information, But lots of inspiring stories about places in Japan.
"Forrest meditation," "Forrest yoga" and things you could do at home to get similar results.
My only minor complaint was that I was not a fan of the narrator's voice or heavy British accent.
A terrific audiobook nonetheless.
