Very Good Read
Revisado: 03-31-17
Where does The Last Mile rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Among the top lately. I listened to Memory Man first and really love the Amos Decker character. I don't understand all the bad reviews for the narrators. I'm so glad I listened to the sample and went ahead and purchased this book. Both narrators are great in my opinion. I've listened to some that you could hear them actually swallowing before they could continue.

Worst narrator ever!
Revisado: 07-17-15
What did you like best about Storm Front? What did you like least?
It's a theme Im interested in pursuing in another venue because I can't stand to listen to this narrators moistness in his mouth or his breathiness. The dry way he reads can be tolerable if I didn't have to hear his bodily functions.
What didn’t you like about James Marsters’s performance?
Hearing him move the saliva around in his mouth and hearing him swallow and hearing his breathiness.
Did Storm Front inspire you to do anything?
Yes read it in print.
Waste of my audible credit

Worth the read
Revisado: 08-13-13
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, it did. It has some unexpected twists.
Any additional comments?
Good narrator. Thats important to me.
Even though it was written a long time ago whem HIV was just becomimg publicly known, it is a great novel. Very edge of your seat. Was tedious at times and preachy and i wished i was reading instead so i could skip over that part, but only in a couple of places. And mostly it was because it was toward the end and i was axious to get to the outcome. The author warns of this a little at the beginning. Still a best seller in my opinion.

Historia
To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters - never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

Clary Fray just wants her life to go back to normal - but that turns out to be impossible. For one thing, her mother is still in the hospital, in a mysterious coma. For another, she and her brother, Jace, have fallen under a cloud of suspicion now that the Shadowhunter world knows that Valentine is still alive - and that Jace and Clary are his son and daughter.

Historia
When 15-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing, not even a smear of blood, to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

City of Fallen Angels take up where City of Glass left off. With Valentine out of the way, Clary thought she and Jace could finally be together--but when someone starts murdering the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine's Circle and leaving their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to destroy the new peace between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, she realizes the past can never be left entirely behind.

Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life you’d find in the pages of a glossy magazine: A beautiful 14-year-old daughter. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by all. A perfect life. When investigator Tessa Leone arrives at the crime scene in the foyer of the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and a million tiny pieces of bright green Taser confetti. The family appears to have been abducted.

Would you listen to Touch & Go again? Why?
No, I usually dont read books over again. but if I ever did, this would be the one!
Any additional comments?
The Best book I've read or listened to in my recent memory. Edge of your seat suspense, so to speak, suspense and real life family and human problems. The different twists and turns Ms. Gardner takes are so complex but make sense when you get the whole picture. they are ripples from events I wouldn't have thought of. This is not the same old, same old.
Excellent narrator. One of my very favorites also.
