I've been a member of audible for 7+ years and have 300+ booksThis is the best - couldn't stop listening to it!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jalen is a great author and I hope he writes more books - maybe he has already

What about Jalen Rose’s performance did you like?

Excellent Book for Teachers

Any additional comments?

I am a K-12 School Counselor and this is the kind of book I'm looking for as I work with kids with behavioral issues such as anger and inability to socialize with other kids and adults (I'm talking about students not school administrators). I'm interested in books with real life scenarios and this is the best book I've found thus far. What books do you recommend?

This Could have been a Five Star Book

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I listened for about an hour and had to finally turn it off and return it.

Would you recommend Life to your friends? Why or why not?

I would not recommend it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I got tired of hearing the word "basically" over and over until I finally turned if off and returned the book.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Life?

This could have been a fantastic book - Keith Richards has had an incredible life!

Why don't book publishers have better control over the way books are written and edited?

What did you love best about Creating Magic?

Something that resonated with me was the author describing his interactions as a young & less experienced manager with his employees and several occasions in which the employees retaliated against him. His wife made a suggestion "maybe you need to change a little something"<br/

What was one of the most memorable moments of Creating Magic?

The author wrote a letter of commendation to an employee and sometime later happened to be in the employee's home for a dinner or gathering and he noticed the letter had been framed and place prominently on the wall - demonstrating the positive benefits of praise and how employees respond to recognition

Excellent - I own 100 + audio books - I recommend this book.

I have listened to this book multiple times and so I recommend it (as opposed to the audio books I could not listen to or "wade through" even one time, or the books I did listen one complete time, however, have no intention to ever listen to again)As far as subject matter, I'm interested in benefits from talking about and addressing issues at work and in our personal lives (rather than silence and avoidance) and this book is an excellent resource - as is the book Crucial Confrontations by the same author.

Would you listen to The Other Kind of Smart again? Why?

I've listened several times and highly recommend this book. I have 60-70 audiobooks and listen everyday.

This is my favorite book on emotional intelligence.

Next favorite would be the 4-5 books written by Daniel Goleman.

Least favorite are these two books: Emotional Intelligence Quickbook and Emotional Intelligence 2.0.

I've listened to it once and enjoyed the new concepts I learned and was not familiar with

No probably not

Could you see 18 Minutes being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
