Historia
At long last, the renovations of stately Captain’s Seat are mostly complete! To celebrate, mystery bookseller and sometimes amateur sleuth Ellery Page decides to throw a house-warming party and invite his New York theater friends to stay for the weekend. When a freak snowstorm leaves the house party cut off from the village of Pirate’s Cove, there’s nothing to do but drink, reminisce, and play games. Or so Ellery thinks—until he finds himself trapped in a real-life game of Clue.

Fun mystery

The narrator’s lack of vocal range was really apparent in this installment. All the characters sound the same. The ending also felt a little rushed.

Although Victor Bayne is a valued asset of the FPMP, he still vividly recalls his PsyCop days: the eye rolls, the nasty looks, and the occasional utterance of the words Spook Squad whenever he showed up on a scene. So he really should empathize with Howard Jibben, the weekend lab manager known as Heebie Jeebie.

A Spooktacular Read

I wasn’t prepared for the plot to be so spooky! It didn’t help that was finishing the book during a tornado warning. I loved the mystery of the plot and the quiet moments between Jacob and Vic. I love seeing their relationship grow.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Working undercover allows FBI Art Crime Team agent Jason West the illusion of safety as he investigates the supposed discovery of a legendary lost 1950s private eye movie known as Snowball in Hell. But the complicated relationship between film preservation and piracy is nothing to preserving the delicate balance of Jason's ongoing relationship with BAU Chief Sam Kennedy.

Why Undercover?
Revisado: 11-27-22
I love the series and the characters, but the premise didn’t make sense. Jason didn’t need to go undercover to investigate the case. It was especially true considering how Jason approached gathering info. I like the Jason/Sam moments, but there wasn’t much progress there either. This one was enjoyable, but it felt like filler.
