This audiobook offers a comprehensive biography of Olivia de Havilland, one of the greatest actresses of the 20th century. Wonderfully written and read, I found the book fascinating from beginning to end.

Not having a great amount of knowledge about the life of Olivia de Havilland beforehand, after listening to this, I came away feeling like I had a real sense of who she was. She was a complicated person, and the author doesn’t shy away from broaching some of her more temperamental episodes.

The narrator is excellent. She is clear and relatable and moves the book along at just the right pace.

Overall this audiobook is a great listen and leaves the reader appreciating the life and artistry of Olivia de Havilland like never before.

Fast-Paced Disney Trivia That's Fun For All Ages

This fast-paced audiobook by Justin Lierman is great for the young and old alike and especially people who love all things Disney. It's filled with endless trivia and fun facts ranging from questions about Disney movies, characters, theme parks, and everything in between.

Narration by Martin Landry is top-notch. His authoritative voice is perfect for the production.

I'd most recommend this for listening in the car, especially on family road trips and when driving kids around, although older people will enjoy it as well. Fun for all ages!

A Tour de Force in Gender Studies

This book was a revelation. I have been a Dolly Parton fan for many years but never stopped to consider the impact gender played in shaping her public persona.

Starting at the beginning and following through to present day, author Leigh H. Edwards is extremely thorough in her research and analysis. Where other Dolly Parton biographies have only scratched the surface, this book offers detailed insight into who Dolly really is and how she became the Dolly Parton the world knows and loves.

The narrator also does an exceptional job and is perfectly suited to the material.

Overall, a must read for fans of Dolly Parton and country music in general, as well as those looking to explore gender and the role it plays in shaping celebrity. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Enlightening Book for Those Interested in BDSM

I found this book very interesting and enlightening. Not only does the author provide guidance on being a submissive, she includes examples and advice on entering and maintaining safe, healthy, consensual relationships with BDSM partners.

While women are traditionally thought of as submissives, the wealth of information contained here can apply to men as well, and bonus chapters with additional information are included at the end.

The narrator is excellent. She is clear and crisp and moves the book along at just the right pace.

Overall a fascinating listen. Highly recommended for individuals interested in BDSM as well as those merely curious about the lifestyle.

Exquisitely Produced Guided Meditation

This is one of the better guided sleep meditations that I've heard. It is exquisitely produced, with soothing background music. The narrator has a pleasant voice, perfect for gently guiding the listener to sleep.

This is a valuable tool for those seeking a better night's rest, and I look forward to hearing more from Living in Bliss Productions.

A revealing biography of Luther Vandross

This is an in-depth and revealing biography of one of the great voices of our time, Luther Vandross. Covering his early life and career as well as his career highs and personal lows, this is recommended reading for every Luther Vandross fan.

Narration is superb throughout. Narrator David Sadzin has a smooth and pleasant voice and keeps the book flowing at a nice pace.

While there are still questions to be answered about Vandross's love life and sexuality, this book is tastefully written, and by the end, leaves the reader with a much deeper understanding of the man behind the music.

Well written and engaging, I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This is an eerie collection of real life tales of horror. Ranging from the bizarre to the truly bone-chilling, these stories will keep you up at night if you listen before bedtime. This is not a book for young children.

The stories cover many decades. While some of them may be a bit hard to believe, if you check your skepticism at the door and go along for the ride, you'll find this audiobook genuinely thrilling.

The narrator is very good and keeps the stories flowing at a nice pace.

Recommended listening for all fans of horror and suspense!

A Well Written and Engaging Tale Set in Ireland

Hearts in Ireland is a well written and engaging tale in which we meet the lead character Ronan just after the death of his mother, who was a native of Ireland. Knowing his mother's dream was to show him where she grew up, Ronan takes a trip to visit her family. While there he meets Fergal, a handsome, easygoing young man who works in his aunt's bookstore. Their connection is instant, but Ronan's struggles with both his recent loss and his personal demons threaten to come between them. Ronan's cousin is a wonderful side story that adds touches of humor to the book, as well.

Narrator John Steinkamp does a wonderful job bringing the characters to life and tackles the Irish accents with perfection. A pleasant story and a charming listen.

All You Ever Wanted to Know About the '80s

This book covers everything '80s and serves as a good (and fun) history lesson for younger readers who were not alive at the time, as well as Gen Xers and older folks who want to take a trip down memory lane. For me it was a chance to learn more about some of the things I remembered from living through the Decade of Greed.

Chapters are divided by year, and topics include the big events in the news at the time, political happenings, social issues, medical advancements and all the pop culture phenomena of the day.

I did hear a couple of errors regarding dates in the book, which is my only minor complaint.

Fast-paced and entertaining with strong narration throughout, this is a great listen for the young and old alike.

This audiobook is a concise, easy-to-understand guide for beginners who want to learn about cryptocurrency and how it works.

The narrator’s voice is very pleasant, and she moves the book along at a nice pace. The only thing that I found a bit off-putting was the pronunciation of “cryptocurrency” as “crypt-a-currency.”

Overall, I found this to be very informative and a great primer for anyone who is interested in understanding cryptocurrency.
