Historia
It caused instant addiction, followed by an excruciating slow death, and there was no known antidote. It was a killer. Supposedly the drug had been totally eradicated from the humanx galaxy years before. At least that's what everyone thought. But somehow, mysteriously, that dreadful substance was back in circulation on Repler and threatening to wreak havoc throughout the known galaxy.Someone somewhere was secretly manufacturing Bloodhype, but nobody seemed to know where or who!

Historia
It’s a good thing Flinx is no stranger to trouble, because he’s swimming in it. Even before the latest murderous attack by a new gang of assailants, there seems no end to people determined to arrest, examine, or kill him. To add insult to all that injury, Flinx has been spirited away and enlisted in a battle against a monstrous extra-galactic threat. Hidden behind the Great Emptiness, in a place where it seems matter and energy have never been, there is only evil. Pure evil that is approaching him, accelerating.

Historia
In his first-ever Doctor Who novel, Tom Baker’s incredible imagination is given free rein. A story so epic it was originally intended for the big screen, Scratchman is a gripping, white-knuckle thriller almost 40 years in the making. The Doctor, Harry and Sarah Jane Smith arrive at a remote Scottish island when their holiday is cut short by the appearance of strange creatures - hideous scarecrows who are preying on the local population. The islanders are living in fear, and the Doctor vows to save them all.

Historia
Moth was a beautiful planet, the only one with wings - two great golden clouds suspended in space around it. Here was a wide-open world for any venture a man might scheme. The planet attracted unwary travelers, hardened space-sailors, and merchant buccaneers - a teeming, constantly shifting horde that provided a comfortable income for certain quick-witted fellows like Flinx and his pet flying snake Pip.

The Illearth War
Revisado: 08-20-21
I have loved this series of books since I first read them as a teen. I could not wait for his books to be published.
The narrator does a wonderful job of being both the story and the characters to life.
It is funny that listening to the story, I seem to be hearing parts that I had missed when I first read the books.
Well worth the listen.

Historia
Thomas Covenant is a leper, a bitter and solitary pariah who is mystically transported to another Earth where time moves differently than ours, one in which magic takes many forms. The Land is threatened by many evils, the most immediate of which is a maddened Cavewight whose subterranean excavations have unearthed the ancient and puissant Staff of Law. More dangerous to the free people of the Land is the Gray Slayer, Lord Foul, the Despiser, who intends to destroy the actual foundations of the Earth that he might wage war against the universe’s creator.

Not as wonderful as I remember
Revisado: 07-12-21
As a child or seven, when I first read this book, it filled my imagination with wonder It helped build within me an insatiable appetite for science fiction that has, after 45 years, never faded.
However, listening to the unabridged version on Audible I will say I no longer find I enjoy the book. Tim Curry was outstanding. His rendition of the work was what kept me listening long after I wanted to shut it off and erase it from my library.
The main character of Axel almost ruined the book for me with his continued whining and doom and gloom. As a child I must have glossed over this.
Still an incredible work, I doubt I will ever pick it up again. But having said that, hats off to Tim Curry for making it worth listening to.
