Historia
The Iron Wolves are a company of legionnaires whose legendary exploits date back to the Savage Wars. When they are invited to be guests of honor at a ceremony on a small, backwater planet, they look forward to some precious time away from the constant conflicts of galaxy's edge. But when a neighboring country invades, disrupting the ceremony and killing innocents, the Wolves are forced to make an impossible decision. Aid a people pleading for their protection...or obey the cynical orders of their senate to stand down and see how the dust settles.

The storyline is not quite on par with the GE. Ok story. Narrator sound quality is terrible.
Revisado: 11-25-24
I had high expectations for the Iron Wolves after they were briefly introduced in a previous series. It seemed like the authors had to cut out some parts of the story and end the story with all the loose ends tied up.
The narrator did a good job changing up the voices for the characters, really getting into the story making you feel as of you were actually there and I appreciate his enunciations throughout the book. I did not like the fact that it sounded like he was speaking through a tin can the entire time.

Holland Taylor is comfortable in interrogation rooms. For years the cold dark cells of the St. Paul Police Department homicide squad were his turf, and with the help of his partner he wrung confessions out of countless killers. But that was long ago. Tonight Taylor is on the other side of the desk. Tonight he is the suspect.

Storyline was spot on. R.C Bray's performance makes you feel like you are really in the action and paints an vivid picture. My 1 dislike which wasn't strong enough to deduct a star was about chapter 33 when he read every single line of computer text and each step. I skipped passed it. Seriously that could have been omitted.

Historia
For Dee Kwan, every day is the perfect day. No, really. She has a house she loves, a job she adores, and a ridiculously attractive “nemesis” who never seems to mind when she wins their favorite online game. How can life possibly get better? (It can’t, obviously. It can only get much, much worse.) Soon Dee is forced to share her adorably cozy home with her parents and estranged grandmother. Then she’s tossed into the deep end at work, tasked with cleaning up a scandal for the intimidatingly chic luxury fashion firm Celeste. If that weren’t enough, she discovers her hot nemesis works there, too.

Story line has great progression. There were multiple spots where I was expecting the story to climax and end but nope it was another plot twist. The numbers of times I gasped or said awww ❤️ is numerous. The author made the characters feel like people, I'd want to be friends with.
Narrator did a fantastic performance of the numerous characters and their emotions. This is a great listen!

Legion Dark Ops has always been a unit shrouded in secrecy. Tasked with performing covert missions, its kill teams are filled with the best warriors from within the ranks of the Legion. Kel Turner is one of the youngest legionnaires ever to be selected to its ranks. After many battles and trials, he is faced with the greatest challenge of his life - operating by himself on a remote planet at the galaxy's edge, a foot soldier for the policies of the duplicitous House of Reason, tasked with solving a crisis that would take ten kill teams to resolve.

strange spinoff
Revisado: 02-25-24
I was expecting a follow on from season 2 or some tie-ins. This book was none of that but the story of 1 character Kal Turner who had recently been introduced in the last 2 galaxy edge season 2 books. Story line was ok. I found myself rooting for the supporting characters. Narrator- his voice grew on me. Kal Turner's character is written like a flat voice reading the newspaper and the narration sounded as such. I liked his ability to change his voice for the numerous characters and his Latin accent was believable.
I am heavily invested in galaxy's edge so I had to listen to this book. If this was the first book I listened to, I would not have continued to seek out others in the series.

Narration is spectacular. Storyline is just ok.
Revisado: 07-23-23
The narrator made this story come alive. Overall storyline waned. The amount of detail about each additional bit of detail made you forget what the original point was. Towards the end, the story seems to rush to get all the loose ends tied up and leave you wondering what each character was doing and to what end. Overall, it's an OK book but I will not be seeking out any additional volumes.

This series is riveting. This book delivers one heck of a punch! This book in particular of the series, the descriptions become even more graphic, fight scenes made my heart race. I gasped when they killed of my favorite character and the last 5 minutes left me breathless and ready to listen to the next book. I am thoroughly invested in this series. It all feels so real and quite plausible.

Historia
Legion Dark Ops calls upon Chhun, Wraith, and the survivors of Victory Company to form an elite Kill Team of legionnaires in the aftermath of the Battle of Kublar. Their mission is clear: find and eliminate those responsible for the Kublar disaster. Standing between them and their objective are a maze of corrupt Republic officials, a spy on the verge of losing himself in deep cover, and the Zhee - a murderous species that will stop at nothing. But the biggest threat of all might be the truth they seek to uncover - a truth that could ignite a revolution. And engulf the galaxy in flames.

part 1- I loved it. part 2- introduction of a new character I did not care for. The change in the narrators voice didn't help for the character did not help it. I have so many questions that I'm sure will be answered by listening to the other books in the series and tie up the loose ends. overall story line- love. character building love. ending- sad yet cliffhanger.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Historia
A bit of adventure and quick cash is all that good-natured drifter Anthony Cade is looking for when he accepts a messenger job from an old friend. It sounds so simple: deliver the provocative memoirs of a recently deceased European count to a London publisher. Little did Anthony suspect that a simple errand to deliver the manuscript on behalf of his friend would drop him right in the middle of an international conspiracy, and he begins to realize that it has placed him in serious danger.
