This is the second time I’ve listened to the entire science of Discworld series.
Judgment day is by far the densest of the books. It has a serious point to make and it makes it well.
I consider the 4 books as a single Terry Pratchett story.

I have read the trilogy several times since 1965. I have seen Peter Jackson’s movies and they’re outstanding in their own right. But they are not the books. At 73, I am reading them again, and simultaneously listening to Andy Serkis read them. He has done a masterful job, daring to voice, the characters and succeeding beyond hope.

Finally, I Get to “know” him

I have been a fan since his third novel. I had the luck of not being introduced to Terry’s work until after the light fantastic. It was good to go back and read the first two novels that said, his death so early in life brought me to tears. I knew his work so well, but never knew the man.
Thank you, for helping me complete his story in my mind.

I loved the first book in the series, “Wild Seed” and highly recommend it but the narrator in this book made it unreadable. A shame really, to ruin a good novel like this. I returned the book after attempting one chapter.

Another great read from Mary Roach

As usual, Roach’s writing is engaging and her research impeccable. Unfortunately, the narrator tries too hard to be emotive and enthusiastic. It comes across feeling false.
I would not buy another book narrated by Bernadette Quigley. Her performance changed my rating from five stars to three.

Why is audible and Kindle so different?

I like to read while I listen. I bought the trilogy in both versions but the two versions don't match. Why would you sell as a bundle with obviously different editions of the book?
I wasted my money.
