Historia
Amina al-Sirafi should be content. After a storied and scandalous career as one of the Indian Ocean’s most notorious pirates, she’s survived backstabbing rogues, vengeful merchant princes, several husbands, and one actual demon to retire peacefully with her family to a life of piety, motherhood, and absolutely nothing that hints of the supernatural.

Beautiful book
Revisado: 09-17-24
It takes me a long time to find a book like this. Adventure, well written, captivating, great friendships and a new world with a female heroin. I have over 2000 audible books and this one is one of the top loved books I can’t wait for more to come from this author.

Historia
It's my second year training to become a Sentry of the South at Spellslingers Academy of Magic and I'm still fighting a reputation I don't deserve. It was my grandmother's addiction to magic that tarnished our family name - a grandmother I still love and adore. When she asks a favor of me, I can't refuse her dying wish...and it sets off a chain of events I never expected. With the help of a charming and sexy druid, I set out to locate a missing professor, but what we discover is far worse than we ever imagined.

Great book, really good narrator…but
Revisado: 01-18-22
I really enjoyed this book and the bantering relationship the heroine has. But my only problem is the volume in the narration. It jumps up and down causing me to constantly change the volume, in the end I ended up with sore ears after listening to this audio book to not miss anything when she’s near whispering to then yelling.

Narrator sucks!
Revisado: 03-17-21
The book is a good listen. But the narrator no matter how skilled he is at different voices is poor because the volume SUCKS! I had to turn the volume to full when he artistically whispered then back to 3/4 when he yelled. It hurt my ears ( I work in a place where the sound is at 80dB) And there where parts of the book that got missed due to the constant up and down, I couldn’t stop to change the volume.... The only way I got threw this was imagining hitting him in the nuts each time he did it. Which turned out to be 20 time + an hour.

Very few people are able to change the way I think, feel and see things in such a short and brief time as Marie Kondo for the better. Thank you Marie.
