Another King gem

I await every new book with anticipation, as I know millions of others do. As I listened, I kept writing the review in my mind. I was getting a little irritated with the political views which seemed to lean more to the writers beliefs. I was prepared to blast that in the review. My mind changed when I got to the end of the book and listened to the authors note, explaining Why he did what he did. I can accept that and completely enjoy what I listened to over the past week and of course, anticipate the next king novel.

The best Ledger!

I’ve come to realize Jonathan Maberry’s mind is a scary place after listening to Cave 13. This was the best Ledger book yet and Ray Porter is in a class by himself. Five stars, at least! Now let’s get going on the sequel 😊

Bad Narrative

The story was wonderful, but it needed a more talented narrator. The narrator was not able to fully create believable voices for all the characters. I will definitely look for this narrator in any future books and avoid them.

This is my first Lisa Scottoline book bit it definitely won’t be the last. So many twists and unforeseen plots! It’s a definite excellent read.

When is the next book??

I consider myself a zombie and apocalypse book connoisseur and this rates right up there. Normally, I pass on audibles that have more than one narrator (just my preference) and I’m so happy I didn’t with this one. The male and female readers were definitely needed and made it even easier for me to get into the book. I liked that there wasn’t a ton of military jargon and more personal interaction. I just need to know... WHEN IS THE NEXT BOOK COMING???

Another home run!

I adore Lisa Gardner’s stories and this is one of the best. The unraveling of the story kept me listening, even when I really didn’t have time! I had to binge the last two hours to satisfy my need for answers. Excellent read, excellent narrator.

The BEST Zombie Series

At this moment I am drying tears from this series coming to an end. I’ve been immersed in the lives of Eric and Sylvie for the past couple weeks, and I’m sad to have to continue without them now that I’ve finished their story. In my mind they are continuing to flourish in the new world. I’m a zombie book junkies and I have to tell you that this is the absolute BEST I’ve found. The author and narrators dragged me in at every spare moment I had! What the heck do I do now??

I only purchase audio version because of my long commute.

When Jane realizes who Perry is.

What about Caroline Lee’s performance did you like?

I have to admit that the first half hour of the book I was totally annoyed by her accent and not sure I'd be able to take it, but as I got more into the story, her reading was perfect. Now I can't imagine it any other way. I would choose a book in the future because she was the narrator.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Fate and Karma go hand in hand

Loved the story... I don't like being able to figure out an ending myself. This one was totally a surprise. I would definitely recommend this book!
