Discover the satisfaction of becoming the man God created you to be. In a world that’s grown increasingly confused about--and hostile toward--the very notion of masculinity, authors Jefferson Bethke and Jon Tyson send a powerful call to men everywhere: it's time to step into the light of Jesus' vision for you as a man.

Amazing Series
Revisado: 01-09-23
I've now listened to (so far) all six of this series and I absolutely love it. It's a great escape from life.
I wasn't sure I would love mixing US Rangers and D&D, however, it's incredibly entertaining. I love the first person journal narration and the interesting characters. Anspach and Cole are great at having just the right mix of characters, humor, action, and clear battle narration to make this series truly amazing. Some authors give you too many details and characters, or hard-to-understand action scenes.
Overall, it's a fun and intense romp into a crazy world with intense Rangers encountering unbelievable monsters and circumstances. Christopher Ryan Grant is a master narrator and is now up there with R.C. Bray in my world.

Historia
After the War of the Gods, the demons were cast out and fell to the world. Mankind was nearly eradicated by the seemingly unstoppable beasts until the gods sent the great hero, Ramrowan, to save them. He united the tribes, gave them magic, and drove the demons into the sea. Ever since, the land has belonged to man, and the oceans have remained an uncrossable hell, leaving the continent of Lok isolated.

Truly an Amazing Read
Revisado: 06-03-22
I have hundreds of books that I've listened to on Audible and this has to be in my top 5 listens. Tim Reynolds is always amazing. This story is both unique and so well-written. I never got confused or bored. Correia does such a great job telling a story and keeping it focused. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Totally Surpassed My Expectations
Revisado: 07-27-21
I have to admit that I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Second Seasons sometimes disappoint but this book amazingly ties up loose ends, introduces interesting, new characters, and puts together characters from different threads in a very satisfying way (Wraith's interaction with Rex's homicidal robot comes to mind).
As a bonus, there is a Q & A with the authors for the last few hours that I really enjoyed. They talk about different characters and systems they have created and you get to know how they think, but honestly, if you've read enough GE books, you already know. The fascinating part was learning how they write these as a team.
Overall, a great start to Season 2. Loved it.

Holy Strokes, What a Great Read!
Revisado: 04-09-21
I've read so many Galaxy's Edge books and loved almost all of them. This book was a huge change from the old formula. it has a great, "What if we colonized another world?" survival, rebuild society, component that I loved. The two AI's are superb constructs by the authors. Lastly, I had way too many moments that I busted out laughing at something in the book. A great read.

My Favorite Book Series Keeps Going
Revisado: 04-19-20
I listen to a lot of books but this series seems to have the perfect blend of interesting and realistic characters, interesting storylines, and a great flow. For example there is a point in this book where one spy is telling another the "hypothetical" history odd their employer. It was done in such a way that I was hanging in every word. Wow! Most books give these long history narratives that make my eyes gloss over but these authors have mastered storytelling and the narrator did an amazing job carrying it out. I'm ready for the next book now but I guess I'll just get the next Tyrus Rechs book. Those are awesome too.

Enjoyable Read
Revisado: 12-10-18
R.C. Bray is an exceptionally talented narrator, one of the best I've ever heard.
This story continues the Galaxy's Edge series with much better character development than the second and about equal to the first. The second book was almost too technical and introduces so many characters. This book circles back to the main characters and tells a great tale.

Revisado: 04-19-18
Bray, the narrator is amazing. The story had some Star War-esce moments and a few funny jabs. I enjoyed the characters. There were some fun interactions. Overall, a great listen. I can't wait for the next audio book of the series to come out.

Outstanding! A great read for adults and teens.
Revisado: 02-16-17
I have a pretty exhaustive list of fantasy titles in my library but besides Sanderson's "Way of Kings", this has been my favorite book. Renshaw does an amazing job developing characters and stories but where he really shines is his understanding of emotional pain and disfunction. This book celebrates moral character choices but also show the humanity behind the less savory characters. Rarely does a book pull at my emotions the way this book has. I really enjoyed it and cannot wait for the next.
Lastly, Tim Gerard Reynolds is a true master at narration. There is none better. He takes storytelling to a level most cannot.
