Welcome, welcome, I can only guess you are here to read about my wonderful adventures. Oh, you don’t know who I am? Well, I’m Foxx Honeywell. An adorable, fierce vampire with a kink for violence. Anywho, this marks the beginning of my story. A story of violence, blood, possibly pain, and love. Though the love part is not so apparent at first. So how does this story start you may ask. Well, it starts with a simple… Okay, maybe not so simple, law change, and a new job.

The beginning of a hilarious chaotic series
Revisado: 02-27-24
I am in love with this new world of Shelby Rhodes. Foxx and Harlow are complete opposites (grumpy/sunshine) and their new status as work partners takes many adjustments, especially for Harlow. Harlow is not happy about having a partner, especially a dimpled vampire with questionable fashion sense. But soon discovers that Foxx has many layers to him and shouldn't let those dimples fool him. He will €nd his enemy viciously while flashing those dimples the entire time (and he does, lol). Also, he can't ignore those sizzling sparks between them. And the discovery of having the same solution to annoying people, makes those sparks blaze. can't wait to read what other chaotic mess these two get into. Cause from we learned about Foxx in this book, if he's involved there will be chaos 😂
Matt Williams did such an awesome job bringing these characters to life, giving each their distinctive voice, and even better than how I imagined them 😍😍

Deadly Chaos and Fun Ensues
Revisado: 06-20-23
I've been impatiently waiting for this book. I fell in love with world of The Undead Detective Agency in the first book, Get It Together. And this book delivered all that I wanted and even threw in some bonuses.
The world building got even better and new characters were introduced that add more craziness and suspense. The familiar characters continue to grow (not feel stale) and captivate the readers, digging themselves deeper into our hearts. The dark gritty plots of the story are still perfectly balanced with humor, not overwhelming the reader. There is more steam in this story due to Octavius and Turney's relationship developing and becoming stronger.
Octavius continues with his antics and love of glitter. And Turney deserves a medal for putting up with all that glitter 😂 and taking in stride his discovery of the supernatural world. But it's not all fun and glitter, Octavius is being hunted by an old enemy. And this enemy is not easy to capture, creating fear and chaos. It had me seating at the edge of my seat, heart racing, needing to know what will happen next. And then the story takes an even darker turn, shattering my heart. And before it could heal, the book ends in a major cliff hanger. Now I REALLY need book 3.
Lance continues to do a great job of bringing the characters to life, bringing out each emotion, and giving each their own voice

Suspense, Humor, and Romance
Revisado: 06-13-23
I was always intrigued by Will since reading about him in the Black & Blue series (based on his best friend Blue and another great read/listen). So I saw that he finally got his book, I was super excited. I was not disappointed. Will blossomed and made me fall more in love with him as the story progressed. Jem was the perfect partner for him. He knew Will was shy and sensitive but never pushed him to come out of his shell. He was so supportive, caring, and understanding of the gentle giant Will. This story also had much sarcastic humor (which I love), scary suspenseful moments, and steam.
Joel Leslie did a great job of bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and the supporting characters. He also did a great job of projecting the creepy moments, giving me the shivers and holding my breath with anticipation.
I really hope we get more books from this world.

Hello, there! I’m Octavius Evander. And this is the beginning of my story—well…sort of. It’s not the very beginning. As a vampire, that story would be way too long to write down—think, before the Romans. Rather, this story is about how I met the love of my unlife. Okay, it will be mostly about the cool and fancy detective agency I opened and solving mysteries, but also a little about love too.

Unexpected Vampire, Creepy Cases & Romance
Revisado: 11-23-22
I loved this book. Octavius is a vampire detective solving creepy ( sometimes gruesome) cases. But he's not your usual vampire, he's kinda of quirky and nerdy (except for those steamy moments), which Lance West did an awesome job of portraying. He had me cracking up with his antics. Turney didn't expect to have his eyes opened to a world he thought was only stories/Hollywood when he got hired. But he was no quitter, he found his inner strength and courage to help Octavius solve their cases and face some pretty creepy and scary enemies. It also didn't hurt that his boss was very sexy, sometimes frustrating but so cute while being so, lol.
The secondary characters were also very interesting and well developed, the world building was intriguing. Lance West did an awesome job of giving each character their own voice and bringing everyone to life. I can't wait for the next book, because I'm pretty sure there's something going on with Turney's roommate.

Story full of sweet tender and steamy moments, humor, and wonderful loveable characters, especially the MCs.
Bryce journey to his HEA with Dakota was one of self-discoveries, poignant, healing, and finding his true happiness (not everyone's else's). He was so sweet that he just broke my heart. But Dakota was there to help Bryce learn what real love and happiness was.
Michael Pauley does a great job of giving the characters to life and the pure emotions come through

A Steamy Humorous Mystery
Revisado: 08-30-22
The MCs, Danny and Tristan, meet in a very awkward, "funny", and heroic way. So shy Tristan tries to avoid Danny but life does not let him. Tristan is so cute, sweet and adorkably awkward. He thinks he's destined to be alone but the sexy Scotland Yard detective disagrees. Danny likes all of Tristan's quirkiness and does not let Tristan push him away. The relationship is a slow burn but sparks fly whenever they get together. And when those sparks catch fire...wowsers...it's HOT. Tristan and Danny while trying to navigate their new developing relationship must also try to solve Dusty's murder. Which complicates Tristan's life a little more since Dusty's ghost has attached herself to him. But this leads to a great friendship with many humorous moments. Dusty also introduces Tristan to great people that fill up Tristan's lonely life. The mystery is well done, keeping the reader guessing and has a nice twist to it. All of the characters are interesting and loveable. This is a great beginning to an intriguing series.
Joel Leslie as always does a superb job narrating this story. He gives each character their own voice and emotions clearly felt and heard.

This is the 3rd book in the San Amaro Investigations series. The previous 2 books are a must read to fully understand this story and also because they are awesome. Greg Tremblay continues to do a great of narrating, giving each character their own voice, emotions come across strongly, and makes the story come alive.
Parker and Nick relationship continues to strengthen as Parker opens up more to Nick. This story shows us a different side to Parker, an emotional and vulnerable side that just makes you want to cry for him and hug him. So glad he has the ever patient and loving Nick by his side. However, they cannot catch a break. Parker is asked by his sister to look into the disappearance of a teenager, SAPD needs him to consult on the case of dead body found in the "Fae forest", and Parker still needs to find a way to heal himself. The suspense, the twists and turns, keeps the reader seating at the edge of their seat from the beginning to end, never knowing what they will discover next. The ending...omg...bomb drop (not giving any spoilers). And theres the snarky humor that is expected from Parker.
Each book in the series has something different to discover about San Amaro and its residents, all connected but each with their own individual twist. The secondary characters are well developed and add to the story, the world building continues to be fantastic and intriguing. The San Amaro world is definitely addicting.

This is the second book of the San Amaro Investigations series. This book can be read as a stand alone since it does have new cases to solve; however, there is a continuation of a story from the first book, Wormwood Summer. The author does explain briefly what is going on but you will definitely find it much more satisfying and enjoyable if you read the first one. And you won't regret since it is also a great book!
I am so addicted to this series. It is action packed from beginning to end, with unexpected twists and turns. I love Parker's snarky humor and his twisted ways of solving mysteries. Nick is the perfect balance to Parker's crazy and not so safe methods/antics. The magical world building just keeps getting better with all the new characters introduced, which definitely add more depth to the story. And definitely opens the door for more adventures which I want asap!!
Greg Tremblay continues to do a great job of bringing the characters to life. He also does an awesome job of giving each character their own unique and animated voice, there's no confusion of who is speaking and

Characters from Addicting Series Brought to Life
Revisado: 02-16-22
I'm really picky about my audiobooks. When I'm reading the book the characters come to life in my imagination so unfortunately I already have a set way of a character speaking. And when I hear the audio it's hard for me to adjust to the narrator's portrayal of the characters. But let me tell you I had no problem here. Greg Tremblay did an awesome job with Parker and Nick.
This story hooks you in from the beginning and at the edge of your seat throughout the whole story. Just when I thought I had it figured out, a curve ball was thrown at me, never knowing what will happen next. There was so much action and suspense. The author did a great job of keeping all the story lines intriguing and suspenseful without them becoming a confusing or overwhelming mess. The romance between Parker and Nick was hot and sweet. They were so funny together. They made a great team, their personalities a great balance between calm and chaos. I'm already anxiously waiting for the next book to see how much trouble Parker gets into while dragging poor Nick along.
BTW if you're a big fan of the Soulbound series and Blade & Dust series, you'll love this one

Revisado: 02-06-22
This is a continuous as story of Dominus (book 1). The story becomes more intriguing and addicting. Allerix and Gaius relationship becomes more complex, steamier, and tense. The secondary characters are just as well developed as the first and add much to the story. There's a death of a much loved character but he refuses to go away until his final wishes are realized. I loved the little paranormal twist added to this story. The suspense had me seating at the edge of my seat and the heat had me fanning myself (so hot!). There were so many plots happening that every page has you filled with suspense, but all is written in a way that the story pulls you in without confusing or overwhelming the reader. I don't want to give any spoilers away, just know that it will keep you invested from beginning to end. And the details to the Roman world are very interesting and make the story so realistic. The story does continue to book 3 but definitely worth it because there's is so much to see and learn from this wonderful world of Gaius and Allerix. The narrators continue to do a fabulous job of bringing these characters and their uniqueness alive.
