The five Titans of Industry discussed in this series are, without a doubt, the most influential and impactful men in American history. Without any one of them, the entire landscape of the US would be different. They are the founders of the American economy.

Great Biographies
Revisado: 10-15-20
Congrats to the author and narrator. Biographies go beyond the elements attached to each one life. The context, economy, political, and social environment are also very well explored which gives a great view of the time being. Recommended!

Historia
In this groundbreaking book, journalist and innovation expert Warren Berger shows that one of the most powerful forces for igniting change in business and in our daily lives is a simple, underappreciated tool - one that has been available to us since childhood. Questioning - deeply, imaginatively, "beautifully" - can help us identify and solve problems, come up with game-changing ideas, and pursue fresh opportunities. So why are we often reluctant to ask "Why?"

Good to Reflect
Revisado: 03-04-20
Good questions aren’t trivial. Sometimes we embark doing activities without asking why. The way we select and address questions to others or even to ourselves may change the way we face the problems and create solutions. The book is full of examples and bring good points for reflection. Well done.

Historia
Medical doctor and researcher Dr. Kris Verburgh is quickly emerging as one of the world's leading research authorities on the science of aging. The Longevity Code is his authoritative guide on why and how we age and on the four most crucial areas we have control over in order to slow down - and even reverse - the aging process. We learn why some animal species hardly age at all while others age and die very quickly and about the mechanisms at work that slowly but definitely cause our bodies to age, making us susceptible to heart attack, stroke, cancer, pneumonia, and dementia.

Good insights and fantastic hints towards a healthier life
Revisado: 03-09-19
The book is very straightforward ref. to why we get sick. Diseases appear also based on decisions made about eating and drinking. Certainly everything we do should be checked whether is good or bad for our lives. It does not mean the author owns the truth. However there is a sense of solid search behind the statements. We all know that longevity is tied to health and vice versa. Therefore, our understanding of what is good or bad is key to have a better life. I liked the book very much. Congratulations!!!

Historia
Is the world really falling apart? Is the ideal of progress obsolete? In this elegant assessment of the human condition in the third millennium, cognitive scientist and public intellectual Steven Pinker urges us to step back from the gory headlines and prophecies of doom, which play to our psychological biases. Instead, follow the data: Pinker shows that life, health, prosperity, safety, peace, knowledge, and happiness are on the rise, not just in the West but worldwide.

Food for thought, great book.

A very intriguing connection among disciplines of life, science and technology going through culture and aspects of human religious beliefs. Good emphasis on the search of knowledge to keep far the ignorance, the evil of many.
