Historia
As a seasoned paramedic and union leader, Anthony Almojera thought he could handle anything his job threw at him. Like many medical first responders, he came from a troubled background and carried the traumas of the city as well as its triumphs. He had grown up in the rough-and-tumble Park Slope of the 1980s, been homeless for a time, and had watched murder, addiction, and hopelessness consume those closest to him. But he had dedicated his life to helping people in need, and while every day was filled with tragedy—stabbings, shootings, accidents, suicides—it also brought moments of uplift.

Too Political
Revisado: 04-17-25
Far too much politics & not enough medicine. Very disappointing audio book. Not recommended.

2:00 AM Infomercial
Revisado: 05-13-24
I could only make it through less than two hours before I gave up on this book. It sounds like a 2:00 AM Infomercial on late night TV, tring desperately to sell a product. Some of the science appears to be accurate, but it's a complex, difficult to follow diet and I simply could not buy into it after the author said "with only 70% compliance, you too can achieve success" (or something like that) repeatedly. It's not for me, but perhaps it may be helpful to others. Good luck with this one....

Some useful & valuable tips, but generally pretty

Nothing revolutionary or new, just some good general reminders about business & leadership. Worth listening to nonetheless.

Worst audio book I've ever ordered
Revisado: 12-31-20
Utterly useless and downright painful to listen to - avoid at all costs. Extremely repetitive. I'll save you $5 and and hour of your life. Basically, don't be lazy & instead be productive. The End. ☹️
