Very VERY GOOD
Revisado: 02-27-25
It was def a fast paced ride. Kept me hooked the entire (short lol) length of the book.
No spoiler, but, I will say this…. I literally got the chills at the last seconds. Seriously. That. Good.

Kings, queens, princess and princes. Loyal knights and a slow burn love story.

Still can’t put this series down!
Revisado: 01-27-25
I can’t believe that even after SO MANY BOOKS this series keeps me HOOKED! Love the original narrator TGR and loving the additional narrators as well. Well maybe not Lysander in this book. But it’s not even close to being a deterrent. Trust me. Just spend the credit. It’s sooooo worth it.

Love the Narrator
Revisado: 01-17-25
Great story and continuation of an epic series. And as always the NARRATOR TJR was the best.
The other characters voices flowed seamlessly into the story as well.

MC “Tamera” is sooo annoying and so is the narrator
Revisado: 11-20-24
I can see WHY it’s included in the “Plus Catalog”. I don’t think anyone would waste a credit on it.
I seriously was going to STOP listening bc the MC like I mentioned was so frustratingly STUPID. Her little hypocritical quips about “if you’re nice to other people, they will be kind to you, it’s Humanity 101” while she literally talks shit to people drove me nuts. Narrator has a Wisconsin “accent” that also annoyed me to no end.
The end was SO ANTICLIMACTIC.
I’d you like “good” thrillers you probably will NOT enjoy.

The nature of this story… had initially disturbed me. Like I mentioned I almost stopped listening after ½ way through but in the end I’m glad I finished it. It ended up being a good read and performed well.

Fast Paced Good Book!
Revisado: 11-11-24
The pace of the book’s progress was fast and therefore kept me interested the whole way through! It did NOT have a bunch of repetitive elements which I appreciated. Psychological thriller books can sometimes tend to lean that way trying to make sure the reader/listener gets the subtle nuances of the read.
If you listen to this genre of book it’s easy to guess the way this book played out. Other than that stellar performance!

Finally it’s Narrated Properly!
Revisado: 08-28-24
I have been wanting to listen to this series for the past 5+ years, but I could never bring myself to spend a credit on it knowing that the narrators would bore me to death.
Since The Wheel of Time came out on prime, I knew it was time for me to take the plunge and get the book. However, I didn’t know it was properly narrated now and I am loving it!
The only reason for the one star removed from the ‘overall’ is because it seems like the story misses pertinent parts in the way it was written. I feel like if some of those gaps and insights WERE written into the book I would definitely give it five stars.

If this is your genre then do not HESITATE. I love the hero’s and loathed the enemies. Especially MANFRED. After you listen and review…..can I get an AMEN to that. I hope that little worm ‘gets it’ in the next book. Which is what I happen to be downloading NOW. So ready for Book 2

This Series IS SOOOO GOOD
Revisado: 06-26-24
I loved that it was PERFORMED BY TIM GERERD REYNOLDS! He always keeps me DEEP into the story. Side note: WHY isn’t HE ever PUT UP FOR BEST NARRATOR?!
He has my vote for SURE.
The series itself has indeed been a LONG JOURNEY and has so many excellent characters that you can’t help but root for. I love how he incorporated each AND their backstory so that you feel like you KNOW them. As if they exist. That’s not an easy job to do let alone with such DEPTH. There are at least 20+ characters throughout the series and I feel like I know them all pretty well.
I have to say that The Aldorin Chronicles series has kept me the MOST interested. The Street Rats of Armoire is a great series and a MUST READ if you plan on taking the dive into the Aldorin series. It didn’t keep my interest after the first two books and at first when the author tells you to “put down this book and go read the Street Rats…’ before you come back to this book” I was a little annoyed but after re-listening to those first two books in that series I felt that it more than made up for the re-listen time.
If you’re a die hard fan of this series like me you’re probably going to want to restart the ENTIRE Chronicles series starting at Book #1. The books are SO LONG and it takes a WHILE to wait for the next up. I have ADD so I HAD to re-listen from the start bc I had read/listened to at least 10 books in-between the wait for the next book.
If you like this series DONT HESITATE. It’s excellently written and flawlessly executed by TGR.
