Uneven installment of the story but great multi cast duet narration

This story is narrated by Stella Hunter (Everly), Teddy Hamilton (Callum), J.F. Harding (Saint) & Oscar Reyes (Mateo).
The multicast narration really brought it to life. It’s a real bonus.

Tropes:
Why choose FMMM
College
Morally grey MMCs
Found family
Fast pace

Contents warning
Bullying

This first book of the trilogy had me torn.
If I’m here for the tropes—“why choose,” found family, morally grey bad boys, and revenge soaked in secrets (the more you read the more you want to know)—it serves. But if I want realism, actual college vibes, or characters who act their age? Yeah… not happening.
It’s even annoying for one thing (and for a short book): the repetition. I swear, if Everly chews her lip one more time, I might bite. And yes, I get that the rich girls only want the bad boys for the thrill. You don’t have to remind me every chapter.

It’s messy, dramatic, full of red flags—and somehow, I still want more.

3.5 stars – for Saint (funny, chaotic, vulnerable), revenge & secrets, and that cliffhanger this book has.

You have to know, the story gets better the further you get into it.
So now, I’m on my way for the second part.

This audiobook is narrated in dual by Sebastian York & Savannah Peachwood.
The story is classic romance between Emma, a librarian who loves cats, and Graham a football player who had a serious head injury.

Tropes
Marriage of convenience
Football background
Bounded by fate
Fast pace

Contents warning
Abuse trauma
Domestic violence
Injury (CTI / heart disease)
Death of a parent / Grief
Cheating (not between the MC)

It’s an uneven story. There are serious stuff like heart illness, grief, and PTSD. And also some parts feel rushed, some totally unrealistic.
In the end, it’s cute, funny, and great for light reading when you’re not in the mood for anything too serious.

The audiobook is narrated in duet by Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton

Aiden and Lennox’s story is funny, spicy, tender, messy, and exactly the kind of love story that stays with you long after you hit the final chapter.
And the narration? Absolute gold. Samantha and Teddy bring every laugh, every groan, every broken moment and every heart-lifting beat to life.

Tropes
Hockey romance
Second chance
Fake dating
High school sweetheart
He wants her back. So bad.
Witty banter
Curvy pink haired FMC
Mental health rep

Trigger Warnings: Depression, suicidal thoughts—handled with care, nuance, and real heart.

Aiden broke my heart and rebuilt it with a slow smile and a Beyoncé lyric. I was moved by the fact that the author did a deeply thoughtful portrayal of hidden depression for her MMC and the silent battles even the most golden-hearted among us fight.
Thank you Brittanée.

Narrated in dual POV by Winston James and Mari, the story follows Stevie, a confident and curvy flight attendant, and Zander, a cocky, manwhore hockey defenseman

Tropes:
- Cocky “manwhore” Hockey player / Curvy flight attendant
- Interracial
- Found family
- Annoyed to lovers
- Mental health rep (panic attacks / anxiety)
- “You following me?”

It’s the installment to anchor the whole series so in this book, you’ll meet Ryan (her twin brother), Indy (her coworker) & Rio his teammate.

His inner monologue and their banter are hilarious. Men are stupid and it’s funny as hell.
The sexual tension is quite high (🌶️🌶️/5), and the emotional layers—toxic families, mental health, body positivity, standing up for yourself—give the story serious heart.

My only annoyance is some repetitions at the beginning: yes she is short and yes he is huge. You got it…

Contents warning:
Fat shaming, toxic parental relationships, emotional manipulation

To quote and summarize:
“You want to be chosen first? Well, so do I.”

The audio is narrated by Kasha Kensington & Alex Kydd in dual narration.

Tropes:
Hockey romance
He Falls First,
Slow Burn,
Golden Retriever x Firecracker,
Manwhore
Redemption Arc
Forbidden (BFF’s BFF)

This is the romance installment to anchor the whole series.

If you love a hockey romance with a golden-retriever hero (Carter) who’s absolutely feral for his girl, a firecracker heroine (Olivia) who gives him a run for his money, and a swoony redemption arc full of grand gestures and soft moments—this is your book.

Final Verdict:
“When you show me the type of love you need, I learn how to give it to you.”
Carter? Consider me obsessed.

I really tried to stay on board, but I failed.
The story about Maggie and Beau discovering themselves through their kinks was appealing at first, but along the way, I got bored.
The lack of depth, the brat dynamic—it felt both too slow and too fast. The spice fell flat, which is disappointing at this stage.
The reverse age gap was well built… until it wasn’t. I wasn’t even a little but interested on how this will end up for them.

The audio is narrated in dual POV by Lucy Rivers (whose work I genuinely love) and Gideon Frost.

I gave it a shot. But it’s just not for me.

I devoured this audiobook. Narrated in dual by Tara Langella & Tim Paige.

Erika is a music industry powerhouse, recently divorced, rediscovering herself.
Troy is the son of her best friend with a hidden talent—and an even bigger crush.
Their journey is a story about taking risks, following your dreams, and finding love where you least expect it.

Tropes & Themes:
✔️ Reverse Age Gap
✔️ Best Friend’s Son
✔️ He Falls First
✔️ Forbidden but Irresistible
✔️ Passion & Rediscovery

I was so invested in how things would play out, and the slow build of tension made the payoff so satisfying.
And yes the steam is real…
If you love age-gap romances with swoony, obsessed heroes and strong heroines reclaiming their power, this is a must-read.

Tropes
Billionaire
Marriage of convenience
Spontaneous, sassy and funny FMC
He falls first
Motorcycle

Sweet, funny, with little bit of spice (🌶️🌶️🌶️/5)
This book is a fun, trope-filled romantic comedy with all the makings of a binge-worthy read—fake marriage, forced proximity, a billionaire hero (Lucas) with a bad reputation, and a heroine (Saoirse) who just wants to live life on her own terms.
This was a whirlwind of witty banter, unexpected jealousy, and emotional moments.

Contents warning:
Car accident with a pregnant woman (not the FMC and no drama)
Very messy divorce (parents of one of the main characters)

I love my mafia romances with fast pace / high heat, wild chemistry, a badass heroine, a hero who worships her (even when he doesn’t realize it), and a plot that keeps me on edge, It’s messy, it’s emotional, and it’s so worth the ride.

Marcello is a mafia heir (the third brother of de De Bellis) who believes his family is cursed. Zoe is a survivor with a past so dark she refuses to let anyone get too close, only Mikhaik and Izzy who rescued her and adopted her, are closed to her. Neither of them wants love, but love isn’t giving them a choice.

This story is narrated in dual by Dorje Swallow and Bridie Lawrence.
My only disappointment is that I struggled a bit the voice of the MMC on the spicy part.

Tropes:
Bratva
Arranged marriage
Age gap (he is 35 she is 24)
Strong and smart FMC
Who did this to you?
Third act breakup

Roman, a Bratva boss recovering from an assassination attempt, needs to marry to secure his power. Enter Nina, a talented artist forced into a six-month deal thanks to her father’s debts. Their fake marriage is supposed to be temporary—but their chemistry? Very real.

This book has it all: a fierce FMC, a ruthless but protective hero, plenty of tension, and some steamy moments. The banter is fun, the side characters are intriguing, and while the violence gets a little darker, it fits the world.

It’s really fast paced so if you’re into really detailed story, it could be disappointing. But overall, it’s an addictive, easy read with all the arrange marriage mafia drama you could want.
