Really glad I found this

I loved listening to this. So first, A for effort in narration. I see the pockets of comedic attempts, and they’re almost funny. Maybe it’s funnier in print form, but comedy doesn’t always translate in other forms. But still good. Sometimes I couldn’t tell who was speaking, but it wasn’t terribly distracting from the overall story. I have so many questions about the world beyond our physical bodies, and I feel like a lot of them were answered in this book. I genuinely want to meet these people. Great book, thank you for writing it!

I love the book. I love the movie. I love Wil Wheaton. But I hate that Will Wheaton narrated this book. This would have been better performed by Mark Deakins. Wheaton was just all thumbs. Dialogue was confusing, I didn’t know which character was speaking sometimes. If I wasn’t so interested in the story (I wanted to read the book before seeing the movie), I would have stopped listening. Sorry, Wheaton.

Expertly narrated

Not every great adventure gets a great narrator. But this one does. The narrator has that satisfying story-telling voice. Just think, you’re deep into the maze with Thomas and Minho in your mind, because this guy’s voice effortlessly transports you into this adventure. I lost track of time listening to this while doing house chores. I surprised myself when I gasped at certain parts, even though I’ve already read the book. It’s a great adventure read with talent. I loved it.
