Historia
He’ll do anything to find his mate! Calix has been looking for his mate for years. There’s someone fated just for him, and no one else will do. But one look at Emma has Cal overwhelmed with protectiveness. He knows Emma is not the one, but that doesn’t stop him from stealing her and claiming her as his own. Emma stinks. Stinking is ideal for avoiding attention. But when it comes to the hot-as-sin alien mercenary who just rescued her from slavery, that’s the last thing she wants. Emma wants her muscle-bound hero, lock, stock, and barrel.

Not His Mate… Or Is She?
Revisado: 04-11-25
This story had a fun twist on the usual “fated mate” theme. Calix is convinced Emma isn’t the one, and yet… he just can’t let her go. Emma’s side of the story is equally compelling—trying to make sense of a situation that’s part rescue, part romantic mess, and part identity crisis.
There’s some serious miscommunication (and missed communication), which sometimes made me feel a bit frustrated, but it also gave the characters room to develop. I enjoyed how it all tied back into the world of the series.
The narration really works here — everything flows nicely and keeps the story alive.

Historia
The Kadrixans. Even their name inspires terror. Fiery-skinned and devil-like, they stand head and shoulders taller than any human man. Our colony made a terrible bargain with these monsters. The Kadrixans give us precious ore in exchange for the one thing they need.

Finding Truth in Unexpected Places
Revisado: 03-18-25
If you love fated-mates romance mixed with intrigue and adventure, A Monster’s Treasure is a solid start to the Kadrixan Mates series. The story sets up an interesting contrast between the struggling human colony and the misunderstood Kadrixans, making for a compelling backdrop.
Clara’s growth throughout the book kept me engaged—while she wasn’t fully convinced by the colony’s propaganda, she still had many assumptions to question. Seeing her perspective shift as she learned more was satisfying. Krxare was a great match for her, patient yet determined, and their relationship developed in a believable way, with plenty of heartfelt moments.
The pacing was a bit uneven, with the first half focused on introducing the setting and characters, but things picked up nicely later on. The narration was strong, and both voice actors did a great job bringing the story to life. Overall, a fun listen that makes me curious about the rest of the series.

Historia
The scary alien hunter has his eyes on me. He’s got sharp fangs, massive claws, huge horns, and walks around in nothing more than a loincloth! Totally terrifying! So why is my body betraying me and reacting in ways it shouldn’t? With troublemakers inside the gates and deadly space bugs roaming outside, I soon realize Mal’k is the last person I should fear. Because in this crazy bugpocalypse, a hyper-protective Xarc’n warrior is the very thing I need.

Mal’k Shines, Meghan Struggles
Revisado: 02-27-25
As always, Troy Duran and Keira Stevens deliver excellent narration, making the characters and world feel immersive. Mal’k was an easy hero to like—thoughtful, patient, and willing to adapt when his initial approach to Meghan didn’t work. He respected her fears but also knew when to gently push her forward.
Meghan, however, was much harder to connect with. Her constant fear and inability to adapt made her feel frustratingly stagnant at times. She often reacted to stress with panic, repeatedly falling into the same patterns and making decisions she later regretted.
That said, the world-building continues to expand, and the narration keeps the story engaging. While this book didn’t resonate with me as strongly as others in the series, Mal’k’s devotion adds heart to the story, and the ongoing development of the bugpocalypse world keeps things interesting. It’s still a good addition and worth a listen for series fans.

My mate’s scent calls to me. I hunt it, each step taking me closer to the one thing I came to Earth to find. These silly humans think they’ve captured me. What a joke. They’ve captured nothing! I’m here for my female, and nothing can stop me. I will find her, and I will claim her. She is mine! When my mate runs right into me and begs for me to take her away, I can hardly believe my ears. Today must be my lucky day!

Taking Time
Revisado: 02-14-25
This audiobook shows that instant attraction doesn't mean instant relationship. Koriv'n knows what he wants but respects Nikki's need for time, while she stays open to possibilities despite past experiences. Their story develops at a natural pace as they get to know each other through "dating" - something new for a Xarc'n hunter but exactly what Nikki needs. Troy Duran and Kiera Stevens deliver another good performance. An enjoyable edition to the series.

Historia
I’ve been looking for my Prince Charming my entire life. When ravenous, human-eating bugs descend from the skies, I think my dream is doomed—until a musclebound Xarc’n hunter rescues me from certain death. Tarv’k is strong and brave, and the purring in his chest turns my knees to jelly. Too bad he’s pretending not to be interested. I might be small and soft-spoken, but I’m also stubborn; I get what I want. He won’t know what hit him!

A Bit of a Role Reversal
Revisado: 01-30-25
This audiobook brings a refreshing twist to the series' romance formula. Instead of the typical hunter pursuit, you get to watch Evie go after what she wants while Tarv'k wrestles with his insecurities about their age gap. Their journey shows personal growth on both sides - Evie finds her place in the compound through cooking and gradually faces her bug phobia, while Tarv'k learns that experience and maturity are assets, not obstacles, to love. All of this comes to life through Troy Duran and Kiera Stevens' excellent narration.

Historia
I have a purple stalker. I don’t know what possessed me to hit the Xarc’n warrior with my bat, but now I have a stalker—a big, purple stalker with fangs and horns. And to make things worse, I can’t go back to New Franklin. After my first night out on my own, I wake up all wrapped up and cuddly with a certain possessive hunter. He purrs like a giant cat and vows to protect me. And to top it all off, he has a pet squirrel. A freakin’ pet squirrel! The “Jerk” claims he can’t let go of me, but I don’t buy it. I’m no squirrel, and I don’t intend to be his pet.

Skeptic Meets Protector
Revisado: 01-16-25
What makes this story engaging is Connie's practical independence - she's willing to leave perceived safety for uncertain freedom when she realizes something's wrong. The relationship develops naturally, with "Jerk" (as she amusingly first calls him) giving her space while still protecting her from afar. Their dynamic works well - he enjoys showing off his bug-hunting prowess while she gradually opens her mind to their connection after seeing evidence from other hunter-human couples. Their journey from mistrust to understanding feels well-paced. The performances by Troy Duran and Kiera Stevens bring these characters vividly to life.

Historia
A knight in shining loincloth. That’s what I’m looking for. I’ve been lusting after the Xarc’n hunters since they landed on Earth, offering to help us fight the alien bugs. These seven feet tall, musclebound warriors are horned, clawed, and fanged—the ultimate protectors. And Rajiv’k is the perfect specimen. Just one problem: I can’t fall in love. Nope! Not after the crappy relationships I’ve had. I refuse to deal with a broken heart during the bugpocalypse. No way! So I keep things transactional, his protection for my companionship. What can go wrong, right?

Ideas and Inventions Lead to Love
Revisado: 01-16-25
Troy Duran and Kiera Stevens deliver another excellent performance in this engaging audiobook. I particularly loved Natalie's character - refreshingly independent-minded and creative, always finding innovative solutions. The dynamic between her and Rajiv'k, a hunter who prefers inventing to fighting, feels natural and compelling. They complement each other perfectly - he helps rebuild her relationship confidence while she encourages his innovative spirit, making their romance especially satisfying.

Historia
My name is Alice, and I live in the Bugpocalypse. I survived my first post-apocalyptic winter, and spring is here. That’s bad news! With warm weather comes the endless swarms of deadly bugs. I need to forage for food, but there’s just one little problem. Okay, so “little” isn’t the best word to describe the fierce Xarc’n warrior who is obsessed with me. Kaj’k is freakin’ huge! And his sharp claws, pointy fangs, and massive horns are scary. I reject his gift of food and flowers, but my massively muscled alien hunter doesn’t get the hint.

Bugs, Romance, and Two Great Narrators
Revisado: 12-28-24
This audiobook was a delightful quick listen. The dual narration by Troy Duran and Keira Stevens is great - they bring both the action and the romance to life. I loved how Kaj'k was determined yet patient, giving Alice the space she needed to come around to him. Their relationship develops naturally amid the chaos - he's protective without being overbearing, while she's cautious without being overly stubborn. The blend of action, world-building, and romance keeps the story moving at a perfect pace. Definitely worth a listen!

She hated him the moment they met. Burned by love, Lettie is finally ready to date again after a long, self-imposed hiatus from men. But Vore is everything Lettie abhors. Resistance Is Futile... But Fun!
Revisado: 12-19-24
This audiobook was a treat! Troy Duran's narration is fantastic - especially his portrayal of Vore. I loved watching Lettie try to resist Vore's charm while he was completely determined to win her over. Her journey from resistance to acceptance feels authentic given her past relationship trauma, and their chemistry is palpable throughout, making their eventual coming together feel earned. Definitely worth a listen!
