Sweet Cinderella Story
Revisado: 04-21-18
I can't help but feel this was written by a very young woman for very young women. If you are about 16-24, it should hold your interest. Simple, sweet plot--young love. Not enough complexity or life experience in these two characters for me.

Very old fashioned narrator.
Revisado: 02-08-18
This narrator sounded like an old 1940 British movie. Very elderly man, with a very formal, too dramatic, outdated accent. It made the story feel outdated as well. I would have liked to hear this iconic story with a fresher narration. It was a bit like an old Sherlock Holmes movie.

Read the book instead.
Revisado: 10-23-17
I've discovered that these types of books just don't translate well when narrated. The female attempts to capture a man's voice (especially with a British accent) make the men sound like either pompous asses, or very effeminate. Some parts of the narrations were just embarrassing and very silly to listen to. I guess if you're going to read a romance novel (which can be pretty silly and juvenile anyway), it's better to just read it, and not listen audibly.
