Started out boring; narration was monotone. Jumped ahead about 13 chapters and the story seemed to get better. Overall it is a sleeper

Should not have changed narrator

They changed the narrator at book five. Big mistake. She sounded about 20 years older. Whined a lot.

Disappointed

The ending of the story was bizarre and bland. The footnotes read throughout the story were irritating and not necessary. Often they were quite long. Typically this information is provided at the end of the story.

I can’t believe how poorly written this story was. The narration was quite poor. Don’t waste your credit.

Very repetitive

It was a good story, however, it was very repetitive….the same thoughts repeated over and over. Then there were several situations when either or both of the 2 main females put themselves into extreme danger such that it became unbelievable. Like going to search the apt of a serial killer late at night by herself, after she had already been overpowered by him twice.
At one point I quit the book, listened to another audiobook, then went back and finished this one.
I don’t plan on getting the next book in this series.
The author could have done so much more with this story involving time travel.

Good story, however…

I enjoyed this story and like this author, however the main female character was over the top - perfect at everything she did, loved by everyone who met her, the smartest, the most beautiful, on and on. Given her young age and background storyline, it did not seem realistic that she would be running a foundation, among all the other accolades. With all the crying and break downs she had, the author should have had the character getting help in counseling.

I found it hard to believe that a young girl would be capable of if such evil against so many individuals. That was the only thing that took away from the story.

Poorly written - overly simplistic dialogue and story line

This story was so poorly written. No depth to any characters; the dialogue was at an elementary school level. This story is basically porn with very simple dialogue, very simple story.

Really good story!

The story has twists and turns which I enjoy. Didn’t see the ending coming at all. Wow! I was sad when the story came to end. For me, that is one characteristic that makes a book really good.

It was all over the place

Did not enjoy this writing style. The stories were so bizarre. I had the impression that the author was doing serious drugs while writing it. The stories were so disjointed. Don’t waste your credit.
