Historia
Dr. Emory Charbonneau, a pediatrician and marathon runner, disappears on a mountain road in North Carolina. By the time her husband Jeff, miffed over a recent argument, reports her missing, the trail has grown cold. Literally. Fog and ice encapsulate the mountainous wilderness and paralyze the search for her. While police suspect Jeff of "instant divorce," Emory, suffering from an unexplained head injury, regains consciousness and finds herself the captive of a man whose violent past is so dark that he won't even tell her his name.

Kind of dry
Revisado: 11-21-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, if you would like a lot of "technical" talk
Would you recommend The Escape to your friends? Why or why not?
I because in parts, it is complicated to follow, and then when you catch up, you are bored to the point that you miss key parts of the story line.
What does Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The different voice inflections, but you wouldn't have what sounds like at times, someone slurring their words.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes
Any additional comments?
If I had it to do again, I would not buy this book.
