Historia
Zev Hunter was an elite warrior, a dark-blood dealer of death to rogue Lycans who preyed on mankind. He was a loner, never given to personal attachments, and damned fierce at his job. But Zev begins to question his past and his purpose when he awakens in the darkness of the sacred cave of warriors - and is soothed back to consciousness by the sensuously familiar voice of one woman, the woman who has haunted his fantasies for centuries. She was Branislava, member of the Dragonseeker clan.

I of course liked Shadow but I really loved Czernobog. There was just something about him that stood out to me.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first multiple cast listen I have done. I loved it
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Any additional comments?
This is an amazing story! Wish I would have read it long ago.

Different POV
Revisado: 08-02-17
What did you like best about Born of Vengeance? What did you like least?
I hated that there where a lot of repeated scenes. It felt like SK was lazy with this book. I enjoyed seeing it from Bas point of view but it felt hollow. We didn't really learn anything new about Bas and it felt rushed. I feel she could have done better. There is so much she could have done. Told us a little more about Ember and what she went through. I wish she would have focused more on that. Especially how she met the one dude and how she got to the Tavali.
If you’ve listened to books by Sherrilyn Kenyon before, how does this one compare?
This is probably my least Fav book. Like the book Maris's book there was not a lot of meat to it. Especially when you got to the actual new info.
Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I love Fred Berman. As always his performance was amazing
What would have made this romance irresistible?
More meat to it. I am happy they found their way back to each other but it is never that easy to forget the past. Even once you understand it. Look at Nick & Jules relationship for example. The last short story was the best part of this book.

SK did it again!!
Revisado: 08-01-16
It take amazing talent to make me love someone I used to hate but SK is a master at it. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this rag tag bunch of men and women but I absolutely have a new respect for Dagger and think Ushara is his perfect mate. If anyone in the Ichedian, sp, deserves love and happiness it is Dagger. Well him and Darling. Ok they all do. I really just love this entire series.

History? Present? Future? Can we ever really tell?
Revisado: 06-03-16
Would you listen to Invision again? Why?
Yes, because there is ALOT you learn is this book. Between the tidbits of history, the glimpses of the future (Marisa!!!) and the dynamics of my favourite scooby gang this book I will come back to a couple times.
What did you like best about this story?
Some questions are answered that have been nagging me and some ideas I have had have been confirmed. It did not help because it also gave me MORE questions but that is why SK is best at. She is so annoying sometimes. Hmph!
What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?
As always Holter was on point although he changed Simi and not for the better. Go back to the old way.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No extreme reaction to this book, I did Laugh when they finally confirmed who I suspected Nick's brother to be.
Any additional comments?
It was good to see Jaden again and while I figured out everything in the last book it is great to FINALLY understand why he is so protective of Jared.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me both laugh and cry.
Any additional comments?
I'm sorry to see the Canem land and the death of Gaius Sextus. This book is packed with a lot of draw dropping WTF moments and seriously did that just happen? I do have to say I got teary-eyed when Nasaug & Varg saw their family and clan again. It was an amazingly sweet moment. It was probably by far my fav book in the Codex series.

Any additional comments?
It has been an amazing journey to see Tavi grow. He is such a respectable man and how he handles conflict. personal and just in general myself as a reader can learn from him. I loved seeing the interaction between Isana and Araris but I do have to say I am not a fan of Gaius Sextus. I think he is kind of a pompous jack ass. I love seeing the Cane especially Varg and Kaiti is always a special treat with her honesty. I really love the entire cast and am excited to start the next book.

The Badass with no Furies
Revisado: 03-07-16
Where does Academ's Fury rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I love all my audio books. Seriously I think there is only one that I have listened to that I just could not finish.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the introduction of the Canim and the battle scenes.
What about Kate Reading’s performance did you like?
Everything! I love Kate Reading just as much as I love James Marsters as Dresden
Any additional comments?
Academ's Fury was a great 2nd book in the codex Alera series. It has a little more political BS which can get old but I think Butch did an outstanding job balancing it with the action. I know that there is more to learn about Tavi and the relationship with him and Gaius to learn about. I have my theories but I shall wait and see.

Revisado: 02-22-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! Because Its freaking Harry Dresden and he's back to kick some Nicklehead ass!
What did you like best about this story?
The interaction with Hade's and Butters kicking Nicodemus' ass
Which scene was your favorite?
Pretty much everything.. I loved it all
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Scene between Harry and Maggie when he is reading her the bed time story
Any additional comments?
This is probably my favorite Dresden Book. It has the old school feel of the first Harry books, you see Michael being all badass again, and my favorite characters are back even the inner Harry that we have not in a while. I am excited for the next one whenever we do get the pleasure of it being released.

Historia
After being murdered by a mystery assailant, navigating his way through the realm between life and death, and being brought back to the mortal world, Harry realizes that maybe death wasn’t all that bad - because he is no longer Harry Dresden, Chicago’s only professional wizard. He is now Harry Dresden, Winter Knight to Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness. After Harry had no choice but to swear his fealty, Mab wasn’t about to let something as petty as death steal away the prize she had sought for so long.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes - because you learn so much about the island and the Fae
What was one of the most memorable moments of Cold Days?
Mother Winter. That is all
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Winter has a heart. Who knew?
Any additional comments?
Seriously this story was non-stop from the first line to the end. Thier were some twists in the story I did not see coming but Mab is an impressive character. Butcher has created an impressive complex Winter Queen who is a very powerful ally and scary freaking enemy. She plans for everything. I really am curious as to what her plans were for Molly
