Historia
Stephanie and Jessica have nothing and everything in common. The two women don’t know each other but are on the same plane heading to California. Stephanie is on a business trip and Jasmine is fleeing an abusive relationship. After a few days, they text their friends the same exact messages about the same man—the messages becoming stranger and more erratic. And then the two women vanish. The texts go silent, the red flags go up, and the panic sets in. When Stephanie and Jasmine are each declared missing and in danger, it begs the questions: Who is Trent McCarthy?

No fbi agent would do most of what she does
Revisado: 01-29-25
Decent story but any fbi agent that does what she does wouldn’t be employed long. Many things she does are narrow minded

Good book
Revisado: 07-01-21
Good story. Story flowed nicely.
Don’t care for the voice narrator gave Peabody. Makes Peabody sound like a doofus

Historia
Lily Morrissey knows exactly what she wants in a husband: a big bank account. Not that she’s greedy or shallow; she just needs the security for herself and her beloved grandmother. But husband-hunting is harder than she expected, especially with her best friend Jake in the way. In fact, Jake - who would be perfect for her if he weren’t so committed to everything money can’t buy - is becoming downright distracting, with those jade eyes and that disarming grin.

Didn't finish and I finish everything
Revisado: 10-11-19
I didn't like this book. The male lead character is kind of a jerk and the female lead is simpering and annoying. The narrator made the female lead sound vapid and just dumb. The story wasn't very developed although there was room to expound on the interesting grandmother. I was so annoyed I quit listening to it. I usually finish everything, so...

Loved it!
Revisado: 08-29-17
I loved his book. It was a great story with eccentric characters human and animal. It moved along at a good pace. Very funny, sweet, and bittersweet. It actually made me think about remembering to love the people around me day in and day out. The narrator was also quite good.
