Historia
Owen was a normal high school student with a great life. That is, until he found a well on some abandoned land, and a man who offered him a drink of water that changed his life forever. Suddenly, Owen is seeing things: Shackles and chains that bind his family and friends, terrifying creatures that connect themselves to the chains, and angelic beings who seem to have a power that even the demons cannot withstand. Do the things Owen is seeing have anything to do with the suicide epidemic currently threatening to destroy his high school?

The Spuritual Realm is Real
Revisado: 02-23-22
If I could ask Laura Gallier one question, it would be, "What inspired you to tell a fictional story about the spiritual realm through the eyes of a devout atheist? Written for teenagers about the spiritual oppression on their generation, Mrs Gallier does a wonderful job bringing the spiritual world into reality. I can't wait to share this book with my teenage daughter. I encourage all who have teens to read this book. It will help you understand the assault they are under from the evil one.

Historia
Whether you’re a Christian parent, youth leader, or educator who works with Generation Z, this book was written for you. As powerful ideas in our increasingly secular culture shape more of this generation, trusted leaders must share what they know about Jesus in ways that will reach them. But how? Backed by the latest research and first hand experience, this powerful book shows how to share biblical truth with a generation that desperately needs to hear it in a way that draws them in instead of pushing them away.

A great resource for Youth Pastors and leaders
Revisado: 03-15-20
This book not only identifies the need to teach our youth a Biblical world view, it gives practical advice on how to do it. Faith is like a muscle; if you exercise it, it will grow stronger. This book equips the youth leader to teach his students how to see the world through the lens of the Bible. This book in conjunction with What is You Life by Brett Longo will work in tandem to bring Revival to our land. After all, isn't that our ultimate goal and the Prophecy of Psalm 78 from which this book got its title?

Historia
Why America's sons are underachieving, and what we can do about it. Something is happening to boys today. From kindergarten to college, American boys are, on average, less resilient and less ambitious than they were a mere 20 years ago. The gender gap in college attendance and graduation rates has widened dramatically. In Boys Adrift, Dr. Leonard Sax delves into the scientific literature and draws on more than 20 years of clinical experience to explain why boys and young men are failing in school and disengaged at home.

Historia
The Omni Diet is the culmination of a decade-long quest by Amen to study the relationship between food and the body. It's an easy-to-follow plan based on a 70/30 plant-to-protein model. This is not a restrictive diet or another page in the high-protein vs. vegetarian diet wars, but a universal map to better health, one that Tana has distilled into a lean six-week program.

Extremely Practical
Revisado: 11-09-18
This is an extremely practicual way to better health. Well thought out and methodically presented. It's hard to come up with a reason why one wouldn't want to change their eating habits to improve their health and longevity after listening to this book.

Historia
Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places reunites spirituality and theology in a cultural context where these two vital facets of Christian faith have been rent asunder. Lamenting the vacuous, often pagan nature of contemporary American spirituality, Eugene Peterson here firmly grounds spirituality once more in Trinitarian theology and offers a clear, practical statement of what it means to actually live out the Christian life.

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: You thought he was a stodgy scientist with funny hair, but Isaacson and Hermann reveal an eloquent, intense, and selfless human being who not only shaped science with his theories, but politics and world events in the 20th century as well. Based on the newly released personal letters of Albert Einstein, Walter Isaacson explores how an imaginative, impertinent patent clerk became the mind reader of the creator of the cosmos.

Isaacson delivers again.
Revisado: 02-13-17
This is the third Isaacson bio I've listened to, and it is the best yet. Well constructed and delivered. he was able to take the complexity of physics and the breakthroughs of Einstein, and put them into layman's terms. If you want to capture the essence of Einstein. I highly recommend this book.
