Historia
A phenomenon known as crustal displacement shifts the Earth's crust, repositioning continents and causing countless deaths. In the wake of the global catastrophe, the world struggles to take care of its displaced billions. But Antarctica, freshly thawed and blooming, has emerged as a new hope. Rather than wage a world war no nation can endure, the leading nations devise a competition, a race to the center of Antarctica, with the three victors dividing the continent.

One of the best books I have ever been through.
Revisado: 09-21-22
Seriously an amazing book. In the first few chapters I could not tell where the author was taking me. But man oh man…. When it hit and the story took off it was like 65 chapters of what the heck is gonna happen next. Quite possibly one of the best endings as well. I read this is it takes place between book two and three of The Last Hunter series but seriously this os the best book yet. Well done!!!

Recovering from Claustrophobia
Revisado: 10-24-19
Developed claustrophobia a few years ago, as an adult, and it surfaced while on a flight headed to a work conference. I have been on a journey to identify the cause and to fix my anxiety so that I can continue to live my life and be able to fly and travel in the future. This book was tremendously helpful in my healing. I definitely recommend it.

Historia
Members of the military’s special operations branches share a closely guarded secret: They love their jobs. They relish the opportunity to fight. They are thankful for it, even, and hopeful that maybe they’ll get to kill a bunch of bad guys while they’re at it. You don’t necessarily need to thank them for their service - the pleasure is all theirs. In this hilarious and personal memoir, listeners ride shotgun alongside former Army Ranger and private military contractor and current social media phenomenon Mat Best, into the action and its aftermath, both abroad and at home.

I can not recommend this book to just anyone after you read it you will understand why. Great book, raunchy straight up hardcore at some points but there is a message. Hope you enjoy definitely worth the money.

Historia
United Nations Special Operations Command sent an elite expeditionary force of soldiers and pilots out on a simple recon mission, and somehow along the way they sparked an alien civil war. Now the not-at-all-merry band of pirates is in desperate trouble, again. Their stolen alien starship is falling apart, thousands of light years from home. The ancient alien AI they nicknamed Skippy is apparently dead, and even if they can by some miracle revive him, he might never be the same.

Historia
Fifth grade was the worst year of Marc's life. He stunk at gym class, math was too hard for him, the school lunch was horrible, and his class field trip was ruined because he couldn't swim. But what was the most awful thing about fifth grade? Kenny Williamson, the class bully, who called himself the "King of the Jungle". When Marc's mother tells him that his uncle Jake is coming to stay for the whole summer, Marc can't wait. Uncle Jake is a for-real super-cool Navy SEAL. And Uncle Jake has a plan.

This is the best kids book... ever. I purchased the audio book after going through Extreme ownership. another absolutely amazing book. I come from a perspective of having 5 children 4 girls and 1 boy. My oldest is 19 and my youngest is my son who is 4 months old at the time I write this. I related to this book on many levels and will be reading it as a family. I myself has a dad that was not around but I had an uncle John and an amazing Grandfather that taught me many of these lessons. Unfortunately BJJ did not come into my life until I was in my late 30's. I found myself getting somewhat emotional while going through this book at times because it spoke to my soul. God is proud of Jocko I am sure of that. Its so right on at the most basic levels. Its perfect for making strong and self sufficient. There are so many amazing simple lessons taught in this book that if you just followed the basic principals you will have a better life. Even at 40 there are principals here are applicable. Discipline equals freedom... freedom from challenges that you can beat by preparing for and being ...DISCIPLINED to create good habits to overcome objectives. There is so much more I want to write but I don't want to spoil the book. Thank you Jocko Willnik your a good man. Thank you for writing this.

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Revisado: 03-27-17
One of the best stories I have listened to sense I was a kid. Seriously! Fun well thought exciting and engaging. Triggers the imagination and allows an escape to a parallel reality that is absolutely fantastic! Just when you think it can't get better if does. About half way through. You will see.

Can a simple concept shift your entire world? Bob certainly thinks so. When it comes to loving your neighbors, instead of focusing on having the “right answers” or checking the “right boxes”, what if you decide to simply do love? To shamelessly show love and grace to those around you—what would that look like? Not the kind of love that stops at thoughts and feelings, Bob's love takes action. Bob believes Love Does.
