I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The unique story telling perspective (told by Truth) was interesting and kept me glued to my headphones. I have read quite a bit about the treatment of Jews in Europe but never about Greece. Narrator was perfect.

I am a huge mystery fan and really enjoy Agatha Christie’s Jane Marple character. I am sure her fans thought that Christie’s death would mean the end of Jane Marple but these writers have brought her back to life with brand new mysteries. Each one is uniquely entertaining. Hope they write more!

One of my favorites

Loved this book. Unique story about a female chemist, Elizabeth Zott. It takes place in the 1950s, at a time when it was quite unusual for a woman to become a chemist. She becomes an unexpected role model for typical housewives. The story is very entertaining and held my interest while I pretty much binge-listened to it. Had me laughing in a few spots. Wish it would have been longer. May have to listen to it again.

Supernaturals abound in this engaging series starring Holly, a witch living in a house full of other supernaturals. This box set includes three stories in the series so I feel like I definitely got my credit worth. It would be a more entertaining world if we really had all this craziness around us.!

Nice cozy mystery

Like all cozy mysteries, this one is light, funny and has lots of characters. I enjoyed meeting Maddy and hope to meet her again in future installments. Summing it up: rich girl moves to a small town to run a bakery without any idea how to do it and finds out like many mystery characters do, that the seemingly peaceful small town is quite a dangerous place complete with murders that must be solved. Enjoyed the narration and story.

What can I say. I love mysteries and thrillers so listen to practically anything in the genre. I believe I got this one as a daily deal and while some of those don't really work out, this one really did. Recommend this one.

This audiobook, which is really two books, was my introduction to Hamish Macbeth, the local constable of a dangerous Scottish town. He shows up the detectives with his persistence and intelligence and is a thoroughly likable fellow. Look forward to more in this series.
