If you're looking for a road trip romance between a stripper and a redneck named Axl, you can't go wrong with this 'book'. Every chapter will find an inappropriate opportunity to update the reader on how wet, hot and ready they constantly are in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.

The narrator just kills your soul. DULL, monotonous, with no sense of emotion, bizarre cadence, like some stoned high school kid reading an essay in class.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I am genuinely sorry to rate this book so low, did not get a chance to finish it since the narration was awful. Can someone please break it to the narrator that sing-song pattern is idiotic when used in audio-book format. Sure, it is suitable when communicating with babies in daycare, but not for reading literature.

What could Hadena James have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Hadena James is not at fault here, the casting director who decided to go with Christy Lynn as the narrator is.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Terrible sing-song cadence, completely unsuitable for literary narrative.

My apologies to the author for the low rating, Audible narration ruined this book.

Narrator ruins the audio version

It would behoove the narrator to do some basic pronunciation research the next time he needs to read a book full of foreign names and subjects. I will concede though, that even that would not save the performance from his generally ratty, monotonous and annoying voice.
