The wisdom in this book is so profound it takes many reads to extract all it is teaching. I’ve listened over 10 times and find myself continually returning to this text. The narrator as some have suggested may seem monotone but in fact the speed and clarity of his reading allows time to fully grasp the deeper meaning of precepts being revealed. Don’t just do a 1 and done listening. It’s too important and you will miss so much.

Beyond basic with no real information

The author has a good voice but that’s where it stops. This is a huge generalization with a lot of fluff and no real strategy.

Total Waste of Time

This book was a total waste of time. The 50 suggestions would be obvious to anyone. The book is full of words lie might and maybe. I.e. “ this might work or maybe you should…. - Nothing to learn here

The accent and delivery distracting

Reader is so robotic

The information is classic but the reader in this version is so robotic that I couldn’t even finish the full 53 minutes. The same information is presented in other audible offerings that are performed in a way that you can actually focus on the material and not be so distracted by the presentation.

So Painful to listen to!

As an avid Audible subscriber this was by far the most painful experience to date. While there is some good information the struggle to get to it through the horrible narration was just painful. The writer do rant even take their own advice. She says “ don’t use cliches in your course but this book is overfilled with cliches and cute little attempts at humor that are read with no emotion. Read like a robot. Horrible

A bunch of over intellectual sentences strung together and read fast. Obvious no real world experience. Reading a textbook is not interesting, entertaining or informative.

The most painful audible I’ve heard

I tried, I really tried but the narration is so bad it was too painful to finish. Mispronounced words, chopped up monotone. The content that I heard was overly basic but I couldn’t finish the book due to narration so not sure about later content. Such a waste of an audible credit.

Regurgitated garbage

Take as many quotes and self improvement hype as you can get. Rebrand and repackage into a 40 plus chapter audio book that has no meaning. Oh, and come up with a buzz word like “hopeium”. What a waste of my wealth.
